And to my knowledge, metal didn't exist in the 1950's to the late 1960's at most, I think the first "real" metal song was "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf.

I listen to rock and metal, and I have no piercings (sp) or tattoos (I think tattoos are cool, though).
