@GhibliMehow Trent has said they will he's finishing up on the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack then he's releasing an album for How to Destroy Angels, after that another soundtrack and then finally starting NIN up again with hopefully a new album and tours. This could be the end of 2012 or 2013, he's so big ever since winning the oscar and has such a loyal fanbase it would be crazy to discontinue NIN. Apparently he's afraid if stopped NIN he would turn out like Gene Simmons.

@GhibliMehow yeah definetely the HDA album released was just an EP but he's got a full new album coming. Apparently the wave goodbye tour wasn't actually waving goodbye forever, just for his break. He had said he would go on tour again and very likely with NIN but it wasn't in the foreseeable future. Now he has planned to go back to NIN again, i think just running the whole band himself wore him out after years and he needed to relax for a bit.

Saw them in 2007 at voodoo and also had the chance to work for trent backstage at bonnaroo 2009 for a very long day like 15 hrs. I was just taken up and was had no clue and was told this is your boss for the day. Nice guy to chill with let me help myself to whatever because the food the company I worked for was utter crap.

I too wish LITS had come to Phoenix but to say that Wave Goodbye was shit is kinda ignorant. Trent himself said that the band's aesthetics would change after Alessandro and Josh left. He went easy on the visuals so that you could get a better feel for the music.

Saw them in SLC. Glad I went because it was hands down the best I've ever been to and that's comparing them to seeing Tool twice, Australian Pink Floyd, Rob Zombie & Ozzy and countless others.

$50 for NIN is ridiculously cheap. Linkin Park played in the Twin Cities and I wanted to see them until I learned that tickets were around $100.

And $35 for a shirt (what I paid, don't know about you) is ridiculously expensive. But that's just how much an arena show shirt costs.
