Denmark has 4.7% unemployment.

Sweden has a much higher 9.3% unemployment rate, spiked from around 6& 2 years ago.

Well you may be surprised to know that every place that has "better" rated health care has Universal Health care. As well our current capitalistic economy is in a downfall because everyone is taking money and running away with it (wall street and some Banks are a prime example of this).

So excluding places like Sweden and Canada which have a socialist like government.. i suppose no one else did do ok...

Everyone who has universal healthcare are complaining about long lines, not authorzed for procedure. Did you know that medicare denies more to patients than private insurance. Socialism doesn't just not work. In example after example from history, countries turned to socialism when their economies went bad after the government interfered with the economy. Every single time, the inducement of socialism really screwed up the country. It is mind boggling that people don't understand the problem with trying to improve an economy by financially hurting the job creators and taking away the incentives to climb the ladder and start businesses. It is such a stupid idea.

Yes. The republicans did exactly what the dems are doing. The "self-executing rule" is used in congress often. Most bills that have passed both houses go through a process that 'reconciles' the two bills(Senate bill and House bill). 9-10 bills never reach the floor for an up or down vote again.
