@Ballinjw no, jason wasnt in the very first, exept as kid jason in the end. in the first it was his mother killing the new counselers, she had gone insane. at the end she was beheaded, and jason, who had sunk to the bottom of crystal lake, woke up and witness this. later he killed the girl that killed his mom, then went back to crystal lake campground. from there he started his massive killing spree, which lasted over ten years before freddy dicovered him.
