  • An American reporter using the phrase "across the pond", oh brother.

    BARF

  • Ol' Dennis Kenyon's not quite as good as he used to be...

  • Moe-Ron

  • No. He meant to do that. It's just that you can only do it once per show.

  • *roflcopter* Mit einer BO 105 wäre das bestimmt nicht passiert ^^

  • lucky

  • Let me tell you kids. You are only as good as your last flight. System should have weeded him out years ago

  • Well.....he did end the year pretty big.

  • FAIL!, also PWNED!!!

  • he was flying a alfalfa schweizer 300 great little chopper.

  • Hahaha! She said "champion acrobatic pilot", that's bad reporting.

  • how did he survive its inpossible a crash like that would make mintsmeat out of you

  • @chris4071000 obviously not.

  • Wow!!! Not many people can say they walked away from an aircraft crash.... Airplane, helicopter, whatever...8 times out of 10 you are done for. Guess his number wasn't up..

  • Thats one tough human!!!! :0)

  • oh no ...oh yes in that altitude

  • You would NEVER see a fat YANK try that as he would get stuck in the copper! Ohhh yes!

British pilots are simply the best! Not like our fat colonials who can’t fly shit!

  • @monkieet28 Really? Guess your not a pilot cause your talking out your ass. The U.S. has the best helicopter flight record in the world. Of course statistics don't mean jack to the individual. Yes I'm a yank, yes I'm an excellent, and no, I'm not even close to fat .

  • @aspiredrotary If you're on a computer in Walmart you're closer to fat than you're indicating. LOL

  • The biggest damage was the helicopter which unfortunately was a rental?

First no kidding the helicopter was damaged; it was in a ball. However the best news was it WAS a rental.

Salt Lake City Utah is about 4400 feet MSL. This was summer so density altitude was much higher. That was why he crashed. Acro pilots need to add a lot more space between them and the ground to complete maneuvers.

  • such copter is not intended for that, i think the turbulence demands more than 10 feet increase

  • autorotate

  • -Hello, AceRentals? -it's me ol'DennisKenyon, -been flying choppers for a 1/2-century now since age-27, this morning rented couple of shiny new Schweizer/300-CBi Copters from you? --Ah well, you can come get one of'em now; yep sitting right here keys still in it, --BTW, did i check the insurance-box? -Oh good! --No no, i'm just fine, but it needs some work, --maybe bring along a 'dust-pan & broom'...!!! And now to my loyal Fans standing in the bleachers, jaws agape, --for my next trick....

  • @AryanKnight LMFAO!!!!

  • Locky you

  • thats not a wing over, its an inside loop

  • @desmogod low iq's? we obviously had enough iq to kick britain's ass back across the sea. not to mention saving them from the germans.... twice........

    and we have better teeth.

  • What is it about the English and bad teeth?

  • @citizenfitz

What is it about Americans and low I.Q?

  • @citizenfitz he is lucky he has got teeth after that crash lol

  • @citizenfitz

I noticed that ever since Austin Powers....LOL

  • @citizenfitz Show me your teeth(not dentures) when you're 70 years old, bucko

  • @citizenfitz They're real teeth, not FAKE Porcelain caps! Real teeth aren't brilliant white! The natural colour of bone of which real teeth are made is usually an off white colour! Are you an American by any chance?!

  • @citizenfitz What is it about Americans and their big mouths?

  • @citizenfitz what is it with americans with loose teeth?

  • Best stunt ever!

  • why don't helicopters have an eject button?

  • @amando96 youll get chopped up by the blades

  • @HigherrConsciousness oh, i forgot they had those

  • @amando96 lol true that

  • @HigherrConsciousness

Not true a few military helicopters have ejection systems, some of which fire the seat sidewards and some fires downwards. There is also a system which blows the rotor blades off before the seat fires such as in the Hokum.

The Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne has a downward firing ejection seat.

  • @amando96

There are a couple of helicopters (military) with ejection and or escape systems. The Kamov Ka-50 being one of them.

  • 13,000 hours doesn't do much for one's judgement does it?

  • @aligerous

At least he flies a real helicopter not like 90% of you(tube) FSX jockeys.

  • @Toyman07 Can't argue with that. Excellent point actually.

  • A RENTAL :o

  • The first crash for most people is usually the last.

  • @Rob187ok

    lol

  • a rental :-)

  • "Watch this"

I'd rather be flying the MD that's in the background

  • Did you hear them say at the end it was a "rented helicopter"? Now it's easy to see why nobody wants to rent one, or no insurance compies will insure them for rent!! Great going for the rest of us Dennis, hope you enjoy your retirement!!

  • "up until he crashed, he felt the stunt was going just fine" - perfect logic as to why he crashed.

  • i like this news channel, they actually show the good parts

  • 10 feet higher, he might have made it ... 10 feet lower he would have been dead

  • @IQQIQQI you are so right!

  • @IQQIQQI Your a quick one mate.

  • @IQQIQQI thats the line between life and death

  • Nice loop,,, too low. Next time, start higher.

  • Glad I wasn't in that chopper.

Oh and, Christina Flores is real pretty, huh?

  • Yes, it is.

  • hmmmm, has he flown in hot places above sea level? I`m sure with those hours it was just a aw shit moment ! poor chopper

  • Hope he checked the insurance box on the rental

  • Just a question that popped into my brain; Is it anymore safer to have an odd number of rotor blades than even, or not?

  • It's not about even or odd number obviously the higher the number of blades the more stable the heli is. The rotating blades going through of lift and drag individually while the lift constantly changes the disc area the next blade is coming to take the place of the previous. While it takes a short time (usually these blades run from 340 up to approximately 470-480) the inertia will rock the heli. So more blades less gap between them less rocking smoother ride. I hope this helps.

  • Yes. And you did it without calling names like some folks on here :P I'm usually leery about opening up "reply" messages, ya know?! I'm not completely ignorant of heli flight (Forest Service, general hobby, subject of interest etc...) but this was a new one in my brain! Thanks a lot and happy new year! Snowing again in WA...ugh!! LOL Later!

  • why did you have to call this person a dumb ass. If they haven't watched the video or have hearing difficulties it's a totally fair enough question.

I think you have shown us who the dumb ass is.

Either that or you're Denis Rodman and you need you ass kicked.

  • ouch it was a rental
