  • the rubicon kicks this cars ass the interior is very, very simple which i like by the way not some clustered mess

  • LC 200 ???????? Are u guys mad? This is not LC 200,this is the Land Cruiser V8. the predecessor of this one was called Land Cruiser 100 ,and of course they all have that internal designation like 80,90...etc..but this is not LC 200..it doesn't even exist.. Land Cruiser for sure is the best SUV in the world...especially this V8 version.

  • @Searayist you are so wrong i have a land cruiser 200. the name just changes by countries

  • @Searayist It is LC200 in Spain and other places

  • @Searayist It is a Lc 200 series that has a v8

  • Too bad Toyota makes them with IFS on the front... :'(

  • @superamerica1981 You can't find this Land Cruiser in the US, because it's the DIESEL version. In the US you've got the shitty petrol V8. Yes the v8 has more hp but the v8 diesel is more efficient and has an incredible torque.

  • "choosing a car to drive trough a mine field" LOL

  • yeah that's my baby got 3 of those 2007 gx-r limited 97 vx-r limited 89 vx limited the best of all lc's

  • this guy have no idea what is he talking about . he is saying that UN is buying these cars which is stupid coz UN not buying this kind of landcruisers infact the ones r bought by UN r especially made for them and it is 20000 cheaper .

  • Damn, my dream, especially diesel one and someone's else too.

  • i want to watch Top Gear making a review of the 200...

  • @VTolDL1000 u may be right but ... almost every jeep in australia is a land cruiser and i know why they are really tought. But yea, if there is a opponent for the lc it is a patrol

btw lc is the first to cross the artic

  • One only has too look what 4x4's are predominately driven in Africa to see what is the best 4x4 by far and TOYOTA comes well above the others, so I'll just stick with what I have and that's the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER. Oh just one more thing>>>

‘Don’t venture off-road in anything else it wouldn’t be anywhere near as exhilarating’

  • would rather have the 6 cylinder td with the price of fuel these days lol

  • Was that a Range Rover at 1:01?

  • @WorldsBestTowers land cruiser 80

  • @superamerica1981 Good on you mate. I own one and you won't be dissapointed.

  • Landcruiser 80 is the best Landcruiser serie you can get... Its the latest machenical used engine... and some even come with factory lockers :D! Just put some 30''+ tyres on it... lift it a few inch, bullbar = ready for fun :D

  • Land Cruiser or 4Runner? Why?

  • @jamesjr934

If you don't need the size of the Land Cruiser and you don't care too much about luxury .... Go to the 4Runner.

Mechanically there are almost the same.

You can actually go for an FJ Cruiser and save even more money.

  • proud owner of 2010 here

  • new IFS landcruiser are Sh#t, IFS and technology is killing the real 4x4's

Try lifting one of these or fitting tyres half decent tyres (32' +) let alone the huge plastic rear panels, great for off road :( .... 200 series.... death of the landcruiser reputation 4x4

  • @sddbug @sddbug Check out the RTI score of the 200, it remains the real deal. IFS is used on the Range Rover, LR4 and LC 200s etc are exceptionally durable and capable off road. Increased articulation during "rock crawling"is the only benefit of a SFA, but whoever thinks a vehicle with a wheelbase of 105" or more is the best choice for that in the first place is misinformed. ARB bumpers and myriad other aftermarket support is there for an extreme 200, but you wouldn't know that either.

  • alan14789- you're the one who's wrong. Every shot they use of the UN vehicles contains the full-size 80-series and 100-series while they now have many 200-series. Yes, the use the Prado or Colorado LCs too but their primary vehicles are the fullsize V8 models.

On topic, the new 200 is an amazing vehicle. The thinking man's Range Rover- not quite as plush but more reliable, just as capable off-road and far more discerning.

  • @eastersidecarl they do not use v8s!!!! they use diesel engines the v8s are just in the states

  • @cationmoted the 4.5TD is a V8 and comes with the fullsize LC sold in Europe etc. The Prado comes with the 6 cyl diesel.

  • @cationmoted yes my fault i thought you were suggesting the petrolv8s

  • yeah, stupid bitch again, a range rover is better because it stays 90% of time at the repair shop.

  • why is he whereing gloves??

  • @thomas123newton you should listen to the video;) "docters"

  • fifth gear got it wrong !! the un r not buying these kind of landcruisers . but they buy landcruiser hzj .

  • I'm slightly pissed that canada does not get ANY solid SUVs, even though it's a country that IMO needs them more than... let's say japan, or the UK... A 80s landcruiser here (JDM import) costs around $20k CDN... a USDM 90s one costs around the same.

  • i love this car. =)

  • Best car on the world!

  • land rover rang rover utter rubbish always breaks down and its the main factor that rangii misses.but the king of the offroad TOYOTA LAND CRUISER.,even nothing comes near to it . PEOPLE WHO LOVE RANGE ROVER PLEASE DONT LEAVE THE RANGE ROVER.BUT IF YOU WONT TO OWN A 4X4 BUY THE LAND CRUISER

  • lol... Did you have to buy a new one? You know, b/c the brakes wore out?

    lol...

I can understand why other countries think those high miles aren't real. They haven't seen our highway network. Everything here is a highway. They don't know you can cross the country and come back w/o stopping... Well except for gas... And any car will get those miles. Like putting a car on a treadmill and it getting those miles is so ridiculous?

  • 430k? idiot..

  • hey guys... my hubby's using my youtube account. He wrote the comment. But that is true. We do have a camry over that many miles. Why the fuck would we lie for?

  • @chewchewg Don't be so quick to judge. 400K+ miles isn't rare for a Toyota. Land Cruisers get an average of 300K miles out of an engine. More than 90% of Land Cruisers ever made are still on the road dating back to the 1950's. I collect cars, I especially love rare 4x4's like my Mercedes Benz Unimog or TLC Icon Baja Edition. I have a 77 FJ40 with almost 400K miles, a FJ60 with 330K, FJ80 with 260K and they all drive like new. As the saying goes: Toyota's break-in, everything else breaks down.

  • i have a 92 toyota camry mileage is 430,000 miles original motor i never change head gasket ever only timing belt, oil pump, and water pump. i believe that i have the toughest toyota or i should say toyota camry in the world.

  • Yeah right Minnievang and I crossed the Atlantic ocean underwater with a Toyota Landcruiser and it still works. Freakin Liar.

  • Toyota cars last long... you guys are the idiots.

  • @flip2mac Way to be a douche. Toyota's can easily rack up that many miles, especially if you take regular care of your vehicle. I have a collection of Land Cruisers all of which have 250K-400K miles, and not just street miles. My 4x4's have seen the toughest terrain on earth from Baja to Alaska, Moab, Grand Canyon, Sahara, Mt. Everest, Australia, Mid-East, Iceland, Antarctica, Patagonia, you name it. Even if you completely neglect a Toyota, you'll get 200K miles.

    Nothing beats a Land Cruiser.

  • @Minnievang No, I do. Or, did. How is it so tough? My parents gave it to my grandmother!! T_T Oh, and it still runs.

  • my next car..

  • They sell range rovers officially in Ford dealership

  • i don't think there are any range rover dealerships in mongolia, so buy something that won't break down in the first place

  • Toyota for my hard earned money. Once you maintain them they just keep on going through the worst of conditions. Sure it doesn't hug you like a range rover or go like a Q7 v12 tdi but the fact that you it WILL start every time and keep going, barring gross negligence puts it ahead of anything else you can buy.

  • That is a myth... Toyota has the same crap as any other car. stop brain washing

  • @maltese85 No, they don't. Come back when you actually own one (or a fleet as I do) in addition to the competition models (Land Rover, M.Benz, Jeep, etc). Toyota's ARE a completely different breed than any other 4x4 / SUV. The engines and rest of the car is designed to handle terrain and conditions that no other vehicle on earth can... literally. Land Cruiser is the only vehicle that has driven to the North Pole, run the Baja 1000 stock, and they're the only car able to reach Everest Base Camp.

  • @verasforzza

Haha Toyota what a Joke of the century..it probablu driven to the north pole because the gas pedal got stuck and the driver could not stop it. Toyota SUCK ASSSS idiot

  • @maltese85 Thanks for that failed response shit for brains; oh, and real smart calling me an idiot when I own these cars and you don't which means I actually know what I'm talking about and you know fuck-all. Second, I have a 184 IQ, degrees from U of Washington, Stanford, UCLA, & Yale. I'm a member of Pi & Prometheus Societies which means I'm one of the smartest people on the planet... but hey, you and your 105 IQ are clearly the most informed party here. I'd love to hear your simpleton credo.

  • veras i see you trolling every single thread about toyota.... you are becoming more modest as time goes on

  • @happysplinters No, not trolling, correcting ignorant morons when it comes to the facts. I collect exotic cars, among them are rare Land Cruisers, so it's logical that I'd post on videos relating to TLC's... that's not trolling jackass. If you don't like it, then you can go fuck yourself, no one asked for your douchebag opinion.

  • okay that great you have a claimed IQ of 184 (I say claimed because well, this is youtube...) but you really should not go around calling everyone "ignorant morons" and a "douchbag" i know your trying to juxtapose yourself against the general population... but does anyone care? really it just makes you look ignorant insulting others to which you have NO IDEA who they are. And P.S really who cares if you have a "rare" toyota, that is like saying I have a "rare" water bottle lol

  • Not really. Rare Toyota Land Cruisers are a collector's dream, FJ40's especially. Name another car from the 70's that has 300-400K miles on it, runs perfectly and is worth $70,000+

I don't have a claimed IQ of 184, I HAVE an IQ of 184. Whether you choose to believe this or not is irrelevant, it won't change the fact that I'm a Prometheus Society and Pi Society member. People ARE ignorant morons and douchebags, when they stop being such, I will stop using these terms.

  • Again, the general population would really have no idea what the Prometheus society is and/or does. And I mean really, I though since you are so very intelligent (rolls eyes) you would have worked out that by using these, "terms" you are further defining and reinforcing these ideals within society thereby increasing the likelihood of someone using this, almost rash language, which will, technically increase the amount of claimed,"douchbags" and,"morons" in the wider english speaking population.

  • This effectively makes your method counterproductive in terms of people being,"douchbags." Im not trying to be a smart arse, im just proving a point that(believe it or not) other people can be intelligent too. I am in my last year of high school in Australia so I (obviously) am not part of the Pi society, however I do believe that people SHOULD be treated with respect. Also could I get your name so I could look up the number of articles you have published within the last, say 5 years?

  • Comment removed

  • Its just out off interest so I could compare your work to my dad's who is reknowned within the wider medicle society as one of the pioneering researchers towards an indirect cure for schizophrenia. He is responsible for the identification of numerous genes which cause the disease. His team is now developing a DNA test which will tell you if your going to develop this degrading illness which will allow doctors to treat you before the symptoms are evident. Stoping you from ever developing it

  • First off, you can't write for shit, your post lacks any form and coherency, it's one big mess of a run-on sentence that doesn't really state anything. Nice try, but you clearly aren't capable of commenting on sociocultural complexities in relation to intelligence.

You're right about tone thing, the general populace doesn't know what the Prometheus Society is, nor the Pi Society (to which I am also a member), but that's their problem, it just further proves that society is a mass of idiots.

  • People bring on the title of 'douchebag,' 'simpleton,' or 'moron' upon themselves. All they have to do is stop acting like they know what they're talking about on a given subject than someone like myself who is a polymath, has vast experience, multiple degrees from the world's best Universities, hands on and academic knowledge, and backed up by an IQ so high that it makes a Mensan look like a severely mental handicap. In the end it comes down to jealousy, people don't like to be proven wrong.

  • @verasforzza Lol ur funny...

  • @maltese85 ...so, let's hear your moronic opinions as to why Toyota "SUCK ASSSS" as you have so eloquently written?

How is Toyota a joke of the century? Toyota Land Cruiser is known world wide as the best car ever made. They go everywhere-literally (only vehicle to operate on all 7 continents). They win the world's toughest race (Baja 1000), they're the most reliable vehicles ever made (average 300K mi per engine). They're the safest, used by Special Forces worldwide, and fairly inexpensive.

  • And how many cars have attempted reaching the Everest base camp?

  • @edthetallguy Hundreds at least, maybe thousands. I've climbed Everest twice, Land Cruisers are the only way to get all the tons of gear needed for an expedition on Everest. Extremely high altitude + extremely harsh terrain + carry enormous loads. There's upwards of 100 people climbing Everest every year, the vast majority of whom reach Base Camp via Land Cruiser.

  • @verasforzza Climbed Everest twice? Really? Impressive. Twice you say...Hmmm... And, if you could show me some empirical data about 'maybe thousands' of different vehicles attempting to reach the base camp and FAILING, then maybe I would buy what you are saying...

  • @edthetallguy Yea, it's called, I've been there, and you haven't. Once again you fail to read and comprehend my post. I didn't say thousands of vehicles attempt to reach base camp and fail. I said, hundreds, perhaps thousands of TLC's HAVE reached base camp. Do a little research for yourself jackass, you'll see that only FJ's can make it to Everest Base Camp.

Seriously, learn to read, you're pathetic.

  • @verasforzza

ME: And how many cars have attempted reaching the Everest base camp?

YOU: Hundreds at least, maybe thousands.

Now, who needs to learn how to read?!?! I never specified how many FJs tried to reach camp - I asked how many CARS in general (I'm breaking it down for you because you seem a little slow). Early onset of dementia, maybe?! That wild imagination of yours is probably due to misfiring at the neuronal synapses, Mr. World class athlete... You crack me up! :-)

  • @edthetallguy Yes, hundreds perhaps thousands attempt the trip every year, it's well known now that only Land Cruisers can COMPLETE the journey, but there are still people who attempt the trek in other vehicles.

So, once again, you fail not only reading, but the much more important COMPREHENSION portion. I'm the one with the genius IQ, Ivy League education and fluency in 10 languages, when you accomplish any of this... then, maybe then you may question my intelligence. Until then, vafanculo.

  • @verasforzza Again, where is the EMPIRICAL DATA that so many attempt the journey and ONLY Land Cruisers make it? Because otherwise you are talking out of your ass - a trait that just adds to your already impressive list of achievements LOL So until you have some REAL facts to back up your claims, eik tu nachui

  • @edthetallguy Holy fucking shit you are dumb. LIKE I SAID, do the research for yourself, you obviously think you know more than someone who's been there multiple times which means you're a douchebag know-it-all. Watch any show, documentary, etc about climbing Everest, all you'll see is TLC's. This is not something that a Nepalese committee records each year. Go to Kathmandu and talk to any guide company, talk Sherpa. The only thing that goes up the mountain other than people and yak are TLC.

  • @verasforzza I tried to be civil...*sigh* Your responses are so lame that you invoke pity...That's enough - your intellect is as small as your dick - and since you're mistaken for a woman constantly - albeit a very stupid and ugly woman - I'd say microscopic.

Now since you have trouble coming up with a anything else, maybe you could post about pansies since you're a homo. That fits you better. Au revoir, jerkface!

  • 7 seater? Think you mean 8 seater...as the rear bench has 3 seatbelts.

  • LC is a legend!

  • we have one with a rare color GREEN.:D

  • Nice video! and very good car!

  • that is quite impressive! well done!

  • "adaptive variable suspension" my 91' kawasaki kdx 125 has that, the wheels go up and down...

  • For the basic model of the 200 series (V8 twin turbo diesel, I believe it all comes with cruise control) your looking at just under $90, 000 AUD, with all the extra's, leather seats, sat nav etc your looking around the $100, 000 - $110 000 mark, that includes 3 years warranty, traction control, hill decent assist, 10 airbags, blue tooth and Ipod compatible CD deck.

Not exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

  • yeah well seems like a total rip off to me... don't get me wrong im sure its a good 4x4 but you can buy a volvo xc90 v8 r design (we have one) for $90,000 and as you say before thats the same price as a base turbo diesel and for that you get leather, bi xenon head lights, power front seats, heated front seats, auto lights, auto wipers, sound system developed in collaboration with Alpine, Bang & Olufsen, Dolby Labs, and Dynaudio and heaps more!, and of course the best safety in class.

  • your forgetting the purpose of the landcruiser, off road use, and reliability. your volvo wouldnt go half the places the landcruiser would, or be able to tow as much weight safely. not many landcruiser drivers care about the bi xenon headlights and the million dollar sound system.

  • Please don't give me that reliability crap, we had a 1997 volvo v70 T5 for 11 years it did over 200,000 kilometers and it literally had no problems over that peroid, and although its fairly new (2007) our xc90 has had no problems with it as well while its done 53,240 kilometers, and believe me it''s been in preatty harsh conditions such as driving in 40+ degrees celsius, going though flood water and sand. And Im preatty sure that "landcruiser drivers" would care about being killed in a accident

  • lol....u think 200,000 kms is a great distance to judge a car...,,,

I dont blame ya mate, Since u drive volvo

A decent toyota will be in its sweet spot at 200,000 kms and more than twice to still to go easy.

  • @theguy459 HAHAHA, those AREN'T harsh conditions, especially for a Land Cruiser. 200K km... whoopie-do, again nothing special, that's only 124,000 miles. Try 400K miles (644K km). Any modern vehicle can go through flood water and sand. Try driving in -60F to -100F as you traverse thousands of miles of razor-sharp ice on the way to the North Pole (a feat only possible in a Land Cruiser). 40C (104F) is nothing, try racing (much harder on the engine) in 120F for 45 hrs non-stop.

  • Good thing that 99.9% of people on Earth won't need a car that can drive in -100F or 120F degree weather...

  • @edthetallguy But it exists nevertheless. The important thing is that a Land Cruiser is engineered to handle that level of punishment on a daily basis and not break down. And actually, there are about 1.5 billion people who need cars that can drive in 120F. Most of them can't afford a cheap bicycle let alone a Land Cruiser, but if they were going to buy a car, a TLC is the vehicle they'd need.

  • @verasforzza 1.5 billion? But with only about 600 million motor vehicles on Earth today, that seems...well, simply a ridiculous estimate! You sure are good at making stuff up. High five for great imagination! Are you sure you haven't ingested any THC lately? (I'll give you a hint - it's the active component in marijuana) ;-)

  • @edthetallguy I said 1.5 billion PEOPLE moron, learn to read. It's not my imagination or ability to make anything up, it's your inability to read and comprehend simple text. Come back when you get that retardation fixed.

No, I'm a world class athlete, I've never done drugs.

  • @verasforzza So where on Earth is there a concentration of "1.5 billion people who need cars that can drive in 120F"? Hmmm, someone needs to learn geography... Oh, and another thing - supply and demand. There's a reason why only 600 million vehicles are today on Earth - not however many more for those '1.5 billion in need' as you've stated.

  • bwhahaha, that was so good! enough said :)

  • oh im sure toyota's are TOTALLY reliable..... apart from the accelerator pedal, which gets stuck...... and the braking system which does not respond in the wet...... and the ESP which, well does not work... oh and dont forget the excessive rusting on their toyota tundra trucks! apart from all of that they are the most reliable cars on the road!..... yeah right

  • toyota found these issues only in 275 cars on whole USA 275 from 4 million . Toyota is the highest reliable Company .

Every company has problems .but the best who announce about these problems and solve em

  • 275 cars in the USA hey?? try 9 million cars worldwide

  • Dont forget the corollas steering issues too !!!!

  • @theguy459 Toyotas really are reliable. Aside from these recalls, they never break down. However Fords And Chevys and Chryslers break down constantly.

  • Non existent on Land Cruisers... by far the best 4x4 and world's most traveled and most reliable vehicle.

  • for that much money u can buy a new nissan patrol throw the shit 3 litre out and put in a v8

  • Comparing a Landcruiser vs a Volvo XC90 is absurd. The Volvo is an urban vehicle, youd never see it in outback Australia and for very good reason. The Landcruiser is king when it comes to reliability and proven dependence, the bells and whistles don't come into it.

  • Hmm I wish I could agree with you but from my brothers experience with toyota I think they are way overated. He resently bought a landcruiser 200 (about 2 months ago) and 2 weeks ago it just refused to start in the morning, it was towed to the toyota dealership that day and the technicians came up with "it's perfectly fine" it managed to start at the dealership and my brother drove off, about halfway to our house the engine just cut out and so did all the electronics. second post is follow up

  • I think you need to understand any vehicle can have a problem at one point or another, we are talking generally here, in other words millions of Landcruisers in the field that provide better reliability than any other vehicle, as apposed to isolated cases or incidents.

  • even the bloody hazard lights did not work! It was towed back to the dealership and they took the engine apart, 2 days later they rang and told us that it might be the fuel pump (might?) which is causing the cut outs but they had no idea why the electronics stoped working. So my brother gave them the go ahead to replace the fuel pump, it took them 5 days to install the new pump. That sort of worked (for abit) and now its back in the dealership..... toyota reliability, yeah right

  • Dude, i don't wish to quarrel with you but as i am concerned i live in the hottest part in the world. U.A.E. Toyota's run great even when the thermometers touch 55 C. Even i have one its smooth and excellent drive. Even after parking it in the direct sun. And i do the right maintenance. Best of luck to get an answer to your problem.

  • careful with wat u hav 2 say abt japanese cars. i'd say dat continental cars are most likely 2 break down easily than japanese cars. think twice b4 buyin it

  • Toyotas do breakdown, all cars do. But they are very reliable and will last a long time.

  • I want one!

I don´t care about the price and the fact that I´m killing icebears.

  • My dad just got this model for a work car, 4.5L TTD, with an INSANE 650nm of torque!! This thing is nuts, 2.6 tones and you can still keep up with falcons, commodores, etc off the line, and it's as easy to drive as a small car.

I drive and 1985, HJ75 (4.0L flat 6) with over 480,000km on the clock, little rust around window frame but i have another one to swap it with, no panel damage, paint work is fine, and it still works perfectly, needs the a rare tune up. Land-cruiser's are the gods of 4x4.

  • @SubZeroStig 0-100 in 8sec is not bad at all for a car that size.

  • can you put bio desial in a desial engine.

  • The most reliable car ever built, in my country (Kazakhstan) u'll find more landcruisers than all others suv combined, and believe me, there's a lot.

  • awesome i think land rover discovery 3 second

    and mitsubishi pajero D-i-D 3rd

  • I drive a land rover discover II and i like it a lot. Granted, i do have a lot of mechanical and electrical problems with it. So although land rovers are capable, i wouldn't count on it if you constantly drive in harsh conditions (i drive mine to work and trust me, that's harsh enough given the car is unreliable). Also, the new ones have ranked very poorly in reliability tests.

  • This will be my next car

  • i have this exact model, it is great. we have the older 1990 model also and is still perfectly running. love the land cruiser.. search for Toyota Troop Carrier, this is our older model.

  • this is probably like the only cool toyota car

  • Land crusiers are the best. My family has owned two. the one we still own and use is a '98 with 270 000 miles and never had one problem. only rutine oil changes. we don't even use the nice fuel that it asked us to use

  • dude 70 series crusiers drive circles round defenders when it comes to offroading

  • my grandfather has 6 of these in his health foundation in haiti and there by far the best cars for offroad. he brings them all around to remote villages and they never die. great cars

  • Rover Series II

    Or original FJ40

... yeah anyway back to regular programming..

  • lol

  • toyota es toyota

  • man at around 1min that was in my lovely sarajevo... some old clip footage during the 92-95 war

  • Toyota FTW!

  • Look, I'm just hell confused! On Top Gear they Jeremy Called the Prado the Land-Cruiser & the 200 series is in Britian. So what the hell goes on the Land-Cruiser in Britain?

  • 3:37- Land Cruiserphilia.... hahahaha!!!

  • landcruisers rule

  • What's up with the strobe satnav? :)

  • try looking at ur monitor or tv thru a video camera, or phone camera......i think is the same effect!!!its something that the human eye can't see!!!

  • i was only trying to help!!!!if u call anyone who tryes to help u an idiot .....i think ur the idiot!!!have a nice life being an idiot!!!!ASSHOLE!!!

  • Wow, you're 12. Get off YT, go to school. Learn to recognize sarcasm.

  • how about u kiss my ass and we call it a day!!!

  • Damn 12 year old YTers...

  • Damn 12 year old YTers...

  • Range Rovers are not as dependable as Toyotas. End of discussion.

  • or land rovers

  • Yeh, sorry Land Rover...that's just the way it is.

  • lol he spent 4 minutes talking about performance and road holding etc etc when hes driving a Land Cruiser. when will these useless journalists ever learn that 4x4s are for 4x4ing not so much for throwing round race tracks.

  • sgtcht92

    > when will these useless journalists ever

    > learn that 4x4s are for 4x4ing not so much

    > for throwing round race tracks.

You're right, but only in theory.

Practise is different. Do you really believe rich SUV buyers thrash their Touaregs, MLs, X5s or Q7s on any hardcore harsh roads?

    Barely.

They buy them out of snobism and for safety (sadly at normal cars expense), presence and prestige in towns and on motorways.

That's why he tests the car like that.

  • i agree with your ideology as well, but he was testing its performance and road holding more than off roading.

i just feel that its a stupid reason to buy one of these cars. these cars are not designed to be especially safe. i dont understand why people dont buy a Renualt Laguna estate, or a Volvo V70---both cars are much better on road, and much safer for the contents of the car and less harmful to pedestrians when hit, not to mention fuel economy, and general runnng costs.
