They made a big promotion and ads for this film. Well, I like it but it wasn't as touching as A Walk To Remember (2002), The Notebook (2004), The Painted Veil (2006), P.S. I Love You (2007) etc. Not even close. It seems to me that they missed a lot of the things but I was impressed by Channing Tatum's acting. He deserves such serious roles. Richard Jenkins was brilliant too
@laauee25 yes the book is very much better than the movie and they also made some major changes in the movie, but still the movie is great because of the chemistry of Amanda and Channing..=D
@daftpunklove684 yes and it's also because you can put a lot in a book then you can with a movie because of the time you have to put the movie together which isn't a lot of time if you think about it.
