u dont need a double pedal, the real drummer for megadeth uses one pedal during that song. He probably uses the heel toe technique.

first of all I meant what the difference between accents and fills. I was talking about fills. second, both pink floyd and PTH get lots of airplay. finally, metal drummers are terrible drummers. Protest the Hero's drummer is a great example of this, but Blake Richardson is truly awful in this area. He's not keeping the beat, he's flailing his sticks around wildly. that's not drumming, that's hitting drums. I'm not saying I hate the genre, I don't. I love Mastodon. there's just no talent in it.

They sell a replacement footpedal at Bestbuy that allows you to hook up multiple foot pedals through it. It's about 30 bucks and way more heavy duty than the regular ones. Check it out sometime.

Cant do that. The bass drum module is a momentary nonlatching on/off switch. Which means that a circuit it open, nothing registers, then it is closed and the bass triggers. It must be reopened then closed to trigger again. The kick drum only sends out a small electrical impulse when hit that the rockband module will not recognize :-\ I've already tried it :p

This is going to seem complicated but maybe possible. That kick drum you are using sends out an electronic impulse. If you could make a switch that is normally open and closes whenever an electrical impulse is sent then you could use the bass pedal itself as the trigger. If that makes any sense at all.

well thats not a great way to learn songs cuz rockband isnt really accurate. it has like 5 pieces to it. i mean if you have a 5 piece set thats fine but i have 3 rack toms, a floor tom, 2 crashes, hi hats, a ride and double pedals so it isnt helpful for me. thats just me tho
