Tom Hanks is an elitist snob, only interested in himself. His unwillingness to support his co-star and fellow actors in SAG is dispicable. Boycott his movies! Tom Hanks is a phony Hollywood celebrity out for himself. His fellow SAG actors do not like his stance on the current SAG contracts and are boycotting all his films and so should you. He's simply not an honorable man and does not support his
SAG is a group of crooks to be honest. John Voight did the right thing and went financial core instead. SAG isnt out to protect actors anymore, its there to control and manipulate, while profiting off the industry. In a sense, they are like a hollywood mafia. There is nothing good about SAG.

Tom Hanks was definately on his meds that morning, he also seemed either pissed to have to be there, or is not happy with the way the studio is working the film, perhaps involving not enough money or them refusing to renegotiate a contract.
I'm also am an actor in Hollywood, I have done my fair share of work in a production office dealing with producers and the like. That said, actors often put their feelings out there and cover it up as an act. In this case, even the untrained eye would pick up that Tom Hanks is acting strangely. There could have been a lot of pressure put on him to promote the company when he didnt want to.There was a bit of strain between Hanks and Sony's CEO, just makes you wonder whats going on behind it all.
I dunno, there didn't seem like there was any strain between them. They both acted perfectly awkward. I'm fairly sure it was just an act that they had went over before hand since all of it went together so well and seemed like it fit. It was funny, the audience laughed, there was applause, and the "strain" just felt fake. I highly doubt he was actually dissing the company and just disguising it as comedy, but who knows. He's a great actor so we can't know for sure.
I agree that hes a good actor and that we can never really know the facts. Sony's CEO, Sir whats his face, remarked afterwards to reporters that his gamble didnt turn out in his favor. He didnt seem to happy with Hanks naming off Sony's past failures such as betamax. That kind of talk makes investors nervous. Anyways, just my take on it. I could always be wrong.
Laugh out loud funny. I'd love to actually see the whole sony keynote though it's conspicuously not here. The Microsoft one is up. Somebody do something.
Bad tactical error on sony's behalf lol

I think it was the "Every time I turn on my computer...(awkward silence),,," part that got me laughing the most.

Brilliant. This'll be beneficial to Sony, precisely because Hanks took the piss and people will watch it.
