it's aok phone but i got mine 4 xmas o8 and was good to about feb and started playng up turning on and off and then ne day april the torch screen did'nt torh anymore screen was fine but just screen did'nt work and went to shop they gave me a new one but i got that on the 1st of may and last week my 2nd one screen has gone white and won't play music or let people ring or txt me 11 so ive had it with the tocco and the batery is BAD. Don't get this one whaever you do :)

We agree with Zuarin the camera is a 5 mega pixel with some really good features like face detection and various other settings to bring out the best quality pictures - so yes camera is good.

The Video camera is also excellent and so is the image and video editing suites!

Well the handset is pretty tough although there is a part at the top of the phone that is normal material they could get damaged but the rest of the phone is solid. Protected by tempered glass which is tough and a high quality material Carbon Fibre to excude style and class :)

You can change the themes but only from a very small selection. We think that you like customization therefore we feel that maybe the Secret is not quite the right handset. Whilst spec wise and look wise it brings smiles to our faces it may not offer you everything you want. Let us know what you need and well help you out :)

Well, this would depend on what you wanted from a handset and we could steer you in the right direction :)

The Secret is a sexy slider phone combining carbon fibre and tempered glass hence the strap line Style that lasts. The only thing that we didn't like was that when accessing any media files on the handset it takes slightly longer than other phones to load. However we feel that the new LG KC910 8Megapixel is going to be good :)

The handset does have moments whereby it will have a slight lag this typically happens when accessing the media - images, videos, music, etc otherwise the handset runs smoothly :)

It may slow down when approaching its memory limit too :)

It will play music via loudspeaker using the touch media button - on the side of the phone just beneath the volume keys. Depending on the quality of your track if its a proper MP3 then the quality is good, volume it good, you can also play about with the sound using the preset eqaulizer choose from 8 different settings.

The handsfree kit comes with a remote whereby you can plug any 3.5mm jack headphones into. You can access the menu without sliding the handset up. Just need to unlock the touchpad by pressing the centre key and then the top right blue light key.

Menu > Connectivity > USB Connection > Data Service

If you are trying to access the mass storage facility to drag and drop then select MAss Storage.

The phone does vibrate when you touch the touchscreen. You can create folders and move the picutres in a group using the mark feature.

The ringtone is pretty loud.

For the background you can actually have the games in the background so the choice is yours :)

Yes that is correct the phone has many different settings in the Scene mode - Auto > Portrait > Landscape > Night > Beach > Sports > Party. Plus it has loads of other little settings to get some great pictures!

Q1. We feel that overall the LG Secret has more to offer with its image and video editing suite, plus its ability to record in slow and fast motion.

Q2. The touch on the LG Secret does has a slight lag but overall functionality is good. We found the U900 Soul to be pretty responsive but we feel that it reminds us of the LG KF600.

Q3. The picutre quality on both handsets are really good we feel however the Secret does beat it slightly because ....

... the flash is bettter whereas the U900 is a LED light - shame really :( You can apply all the different effects and different camera settings.

Q4. We found the reception to be good amongst both handsets - we were using the O2 network at the time of testing

Q5. Yes. On the Secret no probs at all just a click of a button and you're off. The U900 exactly the same :)

We must admit it is a difficult choice since both handset offer good functionality. Even down to the little detail....

its hard to seperate these handsets. In the music player the U900 has no equalizer but has sound effects and the Secret has an equalizer but no option to create your own sound you can choose from 8 different settings we are still quite good.

We love creativity and choose the Secret because of the DivX video recording and playback support plus its picture and video editors :)

Wow tough question!

Samsung - the handset is really good with touch screen as the haptic feedback is brill - the vibrational response you get when touching the screen, slickness of the UI/menu system, music player is ok and memory support is good up to 8GB using a MicroSD card and camera is ok. Battery is not bad roughly 1 day with heavy usage which seems to be the norm these day 1-2 days moderate 2-3 days very light usage

The LG Secret - this handset is also very good - has haptic feedback when touching the blue circle lights on the front and when touching the screen in M Toy mode, a ok music player also, memory support is upto 4GB using a MicroSD card, a decent camera with a proper flash although it could be a little brighter, and battery life is similiar to the Tocco.

The Tocco has some cools features like the widgets features on the home screen is pretty cool but no ability to add your own....

The Secret - does both slow motion and fast motion video recording which is great fun, Wii like gaming experience using M-Toy, very good image and video editor.

I'll probably just check with your network to ensure that you don't need to re-activate your 3G services as sometimes doing an upgrade this can happen. We have not experienced any network signalling problems although we know that some handsets are able to recieve stronger signals than others.

We think that texting speed is pretty good although we feel that maybe the key could have slightly more definition to help those quick texters out there. Menu speed is good only a slight lag when first going into the menu but overall we were pleased with the performance of the LG Secret.

The music player is really cool - one way gives you the basic controls as you saw in the video and the other shows you all the advanced stuff like categorising in recently played, artists, albums, genres, playlist. It has a Equalizer but you can not create your own but otherwise its cool :)

You can use your MP3 tones as the start up or shut down sounds, ringtones, video tones or even messages.

The build quality of the handset is really good especially since it is made from carbon fibre and protected by tempered glass. We think it should last for atleast 18 months we good care - using a case and generally looking after it :)
