you dont like this video because you dont understand it and probably can not execute the techniques as this instructor does. Another error in your post is that the stick and knife are very much a part of modern Kenpo, not the kitana! Yes they borrow from filipino arts, so what is the problem with this presentation? It very much conforms to kenpo formulation!
@AmKenpoUSA You're a disgrace to martial arts. So if you're admitting that Kenpo borrows from fma, why do you call that Kenpo stick fighting and not Arnis/Escrima stick fighting? When did original Kenpo had that kind of stick fighting? Or you may describe it like this, Kenpo-Escrima stick fighting. You should at least give credit to the art where you are borrowing it.
@AmKenpoUSA Another thing is, Kenpo means Law of the Fist. it is the law of the Sticks being shown here. Therefore this is not real Kenpo and you better stop describing this as Kenpo.
i practice kail and siat stick fighting but i always have the upmost respect for kenpo stick fighting. especially after seeing jeff speakmans perfect weapon.the way kenpoist use the entire body with the stick is incredible. i would definitly like to learn the stickwork to suppliment my existing techniques. great video clip. hats off to my kenpo brothers.
Jamiirali, thanks for the comment. I also practice Kali and use these concepts in my Kenpo. I have a lot of respect for Kali as well, and the drills of Kali have enhanced my Kenpo stick work a lot over the years! Again, Thanks for your comment.
you're welcome tim. i also find the kenpo knife work to be equally effective. is the stick and knife done in conjuntion with one another like its done in kali?

Nice work. I can't help but think that this is what Mr. Parker was trying to get people to think about with Long 7...

Dude, if your film looks like this I think you'll have a hit. I hope you do some of the stick work in there.

Nate, it will, and the knife as well! I plan on making the fights as agressive as I can without hurting my guys. Stand by for more!
Thanks Nate, Tim
