  • could this power a amd radeon hd 6870

  • @kmscws i wouldnt recommend it

  • Some music would match

  • Camera man needs to breathe less loudly.

  • I got a shuttle PC! Using it to type this right now :). I love it!

All I need is a new graphics card!

  • so would u recommend this??

  • "shuttle's been making a name for themselves for many many years"

yeah.. making a name for being crap.

using crappy caps on their board and PSUs so the whole thing is going to fail after 2 years or less .. whoops.. that's also the warranty period.. go figure.

seriously.. i'm fixing computer hardware for a living.. and those shuttle boxes (no matter how old) are just plain crap. pennypinching at the wrong places.. mostly using low quality and/or off-brand caps.. even cheapo polymers nowadays..

  • When that box hits the ground, I wonder why he comes out of the box with a smile. If it was me my balls would be hurting.

  • Linus is the Charlie Sheen of computers. Shameless cross promotions and hope for professional sporting sponsorship.

  • Have one of this babys and have not complaints so far..

    I5 2500k

    G.Skill 2 x 4GB

Power Color 6870 (BIG ASS LONG CARD by the way)

    Running with no problems whatsoever.

With this configuration i get 99% GPU LOAD with no problems whatsoever

  • @zGunBLADEz hey u dont have any problem with the power supply?

  • @youth03 so far is working fine, gaming and everything...

  • Does anyone know if the graphics card obstructs the mini-PCIE socket... It looks like it might well do, if its a long board. Anyone know for sure ? Cant find info on shuttle website.

  • @chrisptrifle Depends on the length of the card. In most cases, yes.

  • @Skeptical999 Many thanks - I guess I'll be looking for a short card :s

  • thumbs up if you are watching this after seeing it being given away

  • They are just garbage. Don't buy one.

  • @smarks1986 why?

  • @drumm2k

... I just did some more research. But don't know how shuttles are now. But around 2 years ago, they had bad caps on the motherboards. Generally they wouldn't last long, and if you didn't know how to replace them people would just throw them away.

But as of now, I don't know what the situation is. But I still keep away from them just incase something like that happens again

  • Could I put a netbook SSD in the mini PCIe slot to use for my OS?

  • A pretty good unit but not suitable for overclockers really. Having said that it can still be built into a great system as you can most graphics cards in there. There's even a 500W replacement PSU available if the standard one isn't quite enough. Shuttles PSU are better than their rating suggests though and they confirm 2gb 6950 cards as being compatible. Drop a Blueray drive in and you have a nice HTPC with gaming capability with a nice small footprint.

  • That is a great looking and well designed barebone.

  • Nice Micky Mouse Hands!

  • Darth Vader is behind the camera.

  • It would b interesting to see an installation video

  • Nice PC really like the cooler design!

  • I think I will use this when I build a PC for my kitchen. It's the right size, and I won't need that much, since a kitchen PC will just browse the net and do other minor stuff for me.

  • Dear Cameraman,

    Please stop breathing.

    Sincerly,

    Vincent

  • GO CANUCKS GO

  • front usb3.0 panel, in nowadays is w00t

  • @RyckardPT thats the 2.0, now its wooot for 3.0 ;)

  • Silverstones Sugo SG07 is the better Case.

  • No GTX 580 4-Way SLI? ...kidding xD

  • 9:25 Piyuw? LOLLL xD

  • I think you should start unboxing Water cooling equipment, like blocks, reservoirs and pumps :)

  • is the store yours? :P

  • skip to 9:41 for the best part

  • is darth vader the cameraman?

  • Sweet, this with a Powercolor 6850 single slot, a soundcard and i5 2500 would make a really good Lan computer. so Temped :)

  • Looks like a toaster oven.

  • @Vincenty777 It does not!

  • @TheTemplai

Just the dimensions I meant. I still like it though!

  • 9:25 WTF!

  • thumbs up if you heard the cameraman laughing and breathing in the background

  • @BustedController I noticed that on his last video.

  • Some Do not eat! Is this some new type of technology?

  • 3:47. Us priceless with " you gotta be kidding me" then a few seconds later with the bewildered starr lol.... Also good job losing the shirt mic. You sound 100 times better..... And keep the z68 reviews coming and ill be watching for your reviews of the upcomming x68 motherboards....

  • @Rickymalheiros my Ultra LS 600w for a few months then a SeaSonic 300w for home pc and SeaSonic 560w? for gaming pc

  • Well I guess you know about small packages and how much power they have ;)

  • 1:09 Up to 1333 MegaHoa--hertz LOL

  • fail..^^

  • ugh mini pc

  • 12 people got shuttle.

  • 12 People got "Shuttle"

  • DONT EAT IT! :O

  • i have no fans in my system lol

  • i think it would worth more money with ur finger prints on it lol

  • Heavy breather.

  • this would be awsome if it was a 450 watt gold power supply, then i would mod in a fan ontop and run this bad boy with a 2500 and a GTX 560 TI

  • @Rickymalheiros Sata 6GB/s HDD is $5+/- more then 3gb/s HDD, MB: ASUS P8H67-M PRO/CSM (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel H67, i have a GTS 250 that ill be putting in there then after a month or 2 it will be taken out and this will become a home pc and i'll build me a new gaming rig with gtx 570? i5-2400?

  • make the best gaming PC out of this with that 300W power supply

  • Looks cute it could be a blu-ray player...

  • awesome videos,keep it up

  • mmm going to sell it to someone as new after he has opened it?

would be peeed off if i got it

  • so what hapenned to the 1080p cam?

  • usb porno ports ftw

  • Waiting for camera man to tell Linus he is his father :O

  • that graphics card is over kill for that case lmfao

  • @minttuber that isn't posible.... For a lan-PC its PERFECT!

  • @chrisros1997 yep your right

  • Can u go back to doing a **** ton of videos in one day, pleaseeeee. I liked the old system better.

  • Apparently it has a USB port especially for porno 3:41

  • Cool Small little PC

  • Baby beast!

  • shuttle is awsome you get a rig with a 660x and a gtx 580 for 2300 euros

  • :o he didnt tell us to throw the included driver dvd! It's a miracle!

  • @Starhugg Its not the first time :P

  • Camera Man: Shuuu wuuuh shuuuu wuuuuh Linus... I am your father.

  • Is the camera man smokes? he has hard breathing

  • Keep clicking 3, shagging the pc lmao

  • So from now on Darth Vader is your camera man?

  • Creeping me out there camera man..

  • Cpu bottleneck?

  • Linus do a build with it!

  • Go back to the normal Cameraman...

  • Can a 350 watt PSU really power a GTX 560 Ti?

  • @TheMaristBoy on the edge but it should

  • @TheMaristBoy Runs a gtx 460

  • @TheMaristBoy I know seriously. The recommended minimum is 500 watts.

  • @TheMaristBoy Why would you build a gaming system in a H67 board anyway? I think shuttle do a pro series(or did) with a beefier 500+W PSU. Well, they did for X58.

  • @Tangylives I can't really afford a P67 board, in fact i might resort to a H61 :| but the PSU won't be a problem, I was just curious if they were exaggerating about the PSU.

  • @TheMaristBoy

These people saying a 350W is fine for a 560 Ti (or even 460) are full of shit.

I can't believe Linus suggested a 560 Ti with that PSU, he should definitely know better than that.

  • @CRuleProductions What do you recommend?

  • @TheMaristBoy Minimum of a quality 450W for either.

  • HE DIDNT SAY THROUGH OUT THE DVD AND DOWN LOAD THE LATEST FROM THE SHUTTLE WEBSITE

  • Those gloves suit you...

  • =)

  • breathe not breath

  • Camera man needs to move away from the mic to breath.

  • Camera man needs to move away from the mic to breath.

  • Congrats on the engagement/marriage (whichever it was) Linus!

  • What are the gloves for!!! :DDDDD

  • @metallicRazork watch the video you knob

  • I have the exact pc but it has a 775 motherboard with i throwed away and i kept only the fan.!!!

The Fan rocks BTW, it cools my 6870 pretty niceee!!

  • camera man needs a breathing apparatus.

  • Your breathing was a little creepy, but at least it wasn't through the entire video, so I'll slack some rope cameraman with accent.

Just hope you feel better soon.

By the way, did you laugh silently when Linus couldn't find the power button?

  • linus unbox your new spouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Linus hasn't been taking care of his new wife.......

  • This is a little big monster for gamers. And i would like if it is now avaliable for america customers?

  • @afas1976 I have seen them in some unnamed tech companies.. so yes.....

  • Cameraman, stop jake the fat guy breathing please. Thanks.

  • Jesus, does your cameraman have lung cancer? Poor guy.

  • Little smile right at the end made me laugh.

  • I wish I could just find a GTX 580 that quickly at work.

  • @tmacfan4321 Same

  • Get a tripod

  • To put the ram, cpu and VGA inside that thing is like making a surgery in a 6 months old fetus. LOL

  • I definitely wouldn't use anything more powerful than a 6670 in there, I wouldn't trust stressing that tiny power supply too much.

  • Cost too much.

  • I watchin using a shuttle right now:)

  • @BeznerProd ok cool. thats buddy

  • Cameraman: Luke, I am your Father...

  • those are NHL gloves...

  • Is it really true that a small package can put our allot of power? Statistics would prove other wise..... lol

  • 3:57 Camera man laughed at you.

  • Molex to pci? I thought you said to throw them away D:

  • Loved my shuttle PC :) however it was a little noisy this is back in 05

  • Why did you go from the nice 1080p camera to this camera with seemingly worse quality?

  • @aliv101010

At least he fixed the microphone.

  • @Silvah777 Oh god yeah I know.

  • i hate the new grainey new camera Dx

  • Seems like it would be a Hot Box if you put in a dual 6 pin card.

  • Is Darth Vader working the camera?

  • @xion237 Think so

  • Linus, I have an idea on what you should do next. I've been dying to know performance comparison between a Mini-ATX board vs Standard ATX boards.

  • Comment removed

  • Assassin Linus, with those gloves XD :P

  • so i have a pc n00b question here. whats the difference between USB 3.0 and USB 2.0??? can you plug a regular USB into a 3.0? if anyone can let me know that would be awesome thanks.

  • Thumbs up for nerd talk?!!

  • Hey Linus and or others i am looking @ upgrading to a Intel Pentium G620 Sandy Bridge 2.6GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor 8?GB DDr3 1333 500GB SATA III 6GB/sec W7 Pro from a amd athlon 4600+ 2.4GHz Dual core 2GB DDr2 667 200GB 1.5GB/sec XP Pro for $450 is that a good deal? and is it a good upgrade this pc is really getting on my nerves

  • @Zraupp10 YES!!

  • NOTE: them sata cables are :: 2 x SATA 3.0Gb/s + 2 x SATA 6.0Gb/s

  • i like it cuz its small BUT i bet it has POOR air flow :-(

  • i thought the h67 could only support the integrated graphics card on the cpu, not discrete cards?

  • @shivam1991

if you put a GPU (video card) in it will disable the chip's graphics

  • @Zraupp10

    ahh oh okay thanks

  • It even comes with thermal compound, woah, lol.

  • I think that it would be an interesting little project to build one of those :L i kinda want one xD

  • Megahorse!

  • tell the cameraman to stop breathe
