@G1Pops ---- i ran against that overhead light and before that the flagman at cordova. one time i was under the light on a stock elem run at the sat night drags in the mid 60s and i told the official who was staging me "how will i know when to leave, i can't see the light" his reply was "just watch for his headlights to bob up in the air" [the car i was running against] i remember bob bartel, dave jameson, bob devore, and others. what great times we had there.
