The Federal government is reviewing the current practices of the parole board in regards to them consistantly denying parole to inmates serving parole-eligible life sentences, but most likely not much will change. Just like in Maryland, there seems to be no difference between life with and without parole. Even if he gets out, he will have aged so progressively in prison that he will have little life left.
