Shake the Disease is one of my fav Depeche Mode songs. So sad that most of their songs are off limits on YT. So very unfortunate. I'm not really one for remixes. Well sometimes they are awesome but I love the original stuff. This video is acutally sooo outstanding.

No tienes que agradecer, En efecto Martin también tuvo una mala época a pesar de ser el compositor y si es una pena que que Alan no siga más en DM y ha declarado que nunca regresará y yo creo que tanto Dave como Martin lo extrañan porque su presencia incrementaría la calidad de sus canciones.

Claro que podemos intercambiar datos de DM, de hecho mi hermano menor también es un gran fan y tuvo la gran fortuna de conocerlos hace unos días antes de su concierto en México DF.

Respondiendo a tu pregunta, estos son los motivos:

Parte 1:

Wilder tenía roce constante con Fletcher quien era el menos talentoso del grupo, él (Wilder) hacía la parte creativa con los sintetizadores, Martin Gore el compositor y Dave el cantante y la presencia del grupo.

Después de la gira de "Violator", Gahan se divirció y se volvió un total adicto a las drogas, Martin se alcoholizaba, y Wilder se empezaba a hartar de esta situación, incluyendo su mala relación con Fletcher.

Parte 2:

Mientras grababan el "Songs of faith and devotion" Dave abandonaba las sesiones o no llegaba al estudio al igual que Martin, por lo que el disco se retrasó y salió gracias a la exhaustiva dedicación de Alan Wilder, durante ese tiempo y viéndose solos en el estudio, Alan comenzó a reclamar fuertemente a Andrew no aportar nada a la música de la banda. Esto fué el principio del fin de la relación DM - Wilder.

Con este disco hicieron la larga y accidentada gira "Devotional Tour" en donde Gahan llegó a desvancerse en el escenario ye incluso a ser hospitalizado por un intento de suicidio debido a una sobredosis. Martín tenía problemas similiares.

Alan Wilder no soportó más y en ese mismo año anunció su separación de DM después de 13 años con la banda.

Debemos afirmar que sin Wilder DM no ha sido lo mismo. ël era una parte muy importante en la creatividad y calidad de su música.
