The game itself cause no harm, it's the people playing it and those around them that manage to inflict the harm on themself. I have played the game myself and I am surprised people don't understand this much. It is a game that base itself on a subscription. Therefore its content is based on making people play it for extended periods of time to make significant progress. "Violent games" have close to no effect on people with common sense. Asking questions while someone is occupied = bad idea.

WoW players don't stay up for like years. They have to sleep. They have to eat. They have to get off and buy another game card cuz that's the way this game works. If they don't get enough exercise, it's their beef. They get jobs, some with promotion, some dead end. They stay long enough at their job to get money for the $30 that they pay every month. Bottom line up front: Let them go if they are past saving. Some WoW players actually go out from time to time.
