  • ok, their blood thirst religion and costumes look a lot like ancient Indian religion, like in The Temple of Doom movie.

  • i love maya videos

  • nice vids i love them all it was great to watch them

  • Good to see a video that doesnt just talk about 2012 b.s.

  • @bhull891 Amen to that shit..

  • People had this bullshit idea about the Maya being peaceful star gazers for a long time. Then the murals of Bonampak took a nice big historical shit all over that idea, and I thank the gods for that. Better historical fact than romanticized fantasy.

  • @TheLastMexicatl lol i like that well said hey the truth is the truth i say!!!

  • One of the best documentaries Why is this not on cable ? its not lost if u find it!!!! the truth is out there, under a rock )

  • Long live native american indian power throughout the americas!

  • man i was like 9 years old when i watched this show! it rules :)

  • Thank you for posing all these series. In may a lifelong dream will come true, I will go and live in Mexico. Gracias !

  • did u knwo that teh Spanish missionaries had destroyed most of Maya evidence and civilization ..and there is less than 150 person in the America who keep the Maya civilizations

  • 88rodj. CLASSIC Maya civilization collapsed in the 9th century long before the Spanish arrived in the Americas.

  • @88rodj And I am one of them, even tho my blood is tainted because of the rape of the Spanish; I am still proud that my ancestor's where pretty fucking smart..and that I am a Mayan. That number is wrong yet the number is under 1,000.The peoples of the Central American govt. have almost hunted them outta this world, but those that still breathe will die with pride of being a descendant of one of the world's greatest civilizations known to man kind.

  • What an incredible experience it must have been for the Spanish to find a tribe of people having riches beyond thought living in grandiose cities and yet still think of them as savages.

  • were made from corn? never heard that 1

  • The Maya had destroyed themselves long before Cortes was born.

  • @frellthat

the Maya empire had declined (as most empires do) but they did not "destroy" themselves. The spanish, however, systematically set out to destroy thousands of years of culture, traditions and written histories upon their arrival. If some of these ruins had not remained undiscovered, we'd know very little about Mayan history today.

  • So did I. :o)

We discovered Columbus Lost and Confused at sea. He thought he had arrived in India.

Did you know He died thinking he found another route to INDIA?

    What a great Marine, lol!
