kids never knew they were being exposed to some of the best music (jazz piano) EVER when they watched the incomparable Fred Rogers. His show was a iconic trip through the wonder and joy of childhood and whenever I hear his songs (done by fantastic musicians like Wynton) or all alone, sung by unassuming Fred; I cry with the knowledge that he loved children so much. Enough to write these fabulous songs and get them performed on his 'little show' for kids EVERYWHERE to cherish. What pure joy!
By far my favorite song of Mr. Rogers. Man... I so wish my kids had someone like Mr. Rogers today. We've watched reruns, but for them it isn't relevant or as entertaining.

Great clip, thanks.
That's Johnny Costa on piano...Fred's musical director.
Fantastic pianist...Art Tatum called him the "White" Tatum.
Costa was a monster on keys.
