How To Block Google Ads Using Firefox

This video does not address removing ads from YouTube. I see that it was made 3 years ago. In those days YouTube did not have ads but they sure do now. I'm not talking about the ones on the sides of the video that you can easily ignore and are relatively harmless. I mean the ones that sit on top of the videos you want to watch and require you to click on them to close them. God damn Google.

THANK YOU. Does it work on Macs? I´m gonna try here. Or I´d use windows to see videos anyway. How come a corporation worth $ 150 BILLION needs ads?? + keeps censoring and deleting all our videos that we BOUGHT. Fuck them.

@maumedina292003 Haha, yes it does work on Macs. You need to be open minded though. Google creates these ads based off support of the people. My website has these ads too, and Youtube is owned by Google. Normal people get paid a small percentage from these ads and the publishers pay google a fee, and google shares that to the advertisers which are people who makes videos on youtube and develop websites.

The ads won't stop while watching youtube videos it is only blocking ads on the right hand side

Does this still works? Shiiiat, I've been using adblock for years and never see ANY kind of youtube advertisement. I had to delete some moments ago the custom filters because it was blocking random images and pages, and now I'm regretting it.

Can anyone help?

Ads are one thing, ok, but F*** Google the way their ads annoy at least 1 in 3 video's. There's nothing commercial about it, just pure annoyance.
