  • ..."WOW"!!! ~ What a find!!! / So good to hear this...I well remember, and Loved it, when it first came out ~~~ I was eighteen !

  • ..."WOW"!!! ~ What a find!!! / So good to hear this...I well remember, and Loved it, when it first came out ~~~ [ I was 18 @ that time ].

  • Now we're talking Song here!

  • I first heard this driving home from work one night. After a couple of bars (musical) I had to pull over to the side of the road. I could not get over those words. I knew as soon as I got up in the morning I was going to own that record. I lost the record a long time ago, but at 6 in the morning I got on you tube and found it. I listened to it I don't know how many times. Thanks a million for more wonderful music

  • Your video is a favorite on Monaco

  • First heard this track On Coast to Coast am.Always knew the cover verisions. Thanks for posting.

  • You don't know how LONG I have been looking for this song! For decades I have been humming it and had the Phaedra is my name chorus... but had lost the rest of it over the years. I knew it was Nancy but I thought it was with her father. This came out the year Dr King died. 1968? I was 13. I am now 56. That's a lot of years of humming! THANK YOU!!!

  • @peanutgrama What a fascinating story. Thanks for sharing with us, peanutgrama!

  • Magnificent audio quality, thank you very much for the upload!

  • Named my daughter Phaedra. Getting a tattoo for her of a dragonfly lighted on a daffodil.

  • You did an extremely good job with this video by the way you made Nancy's face/body fade in and out over a lake and hills, giving a perfect illustration of a dreamy scenario. By the way, I never actually knew what she looked like until a few weeks ago. I always imagined what she might look like based on her singing voice and... to my surprise, she looks exactly like I had always imagined, haha. REALLY darn hot too!

  • FANTASTIC

  • Thank you for preserving and enhancing this magical song with your beautiful montage. While this lost treasure of a song may not get viewed by many people on YouTube, rest assured that your effort is profoundly pleasing to those who remember it.

  • @lesliepickens I remember one of the best record label specialized in oldies compilations stated the following as their tag line: "For those who know the difference...". I liked it. Similarly, this channel is "For those who know the difference" as well. I thank you for your kind comments and your appreciation, lesliepickens!

  • @lesliepickens: I wouldn't call it a "lost treasure", as SVM has been covered lots of times, though seldom well. (Check out Beloved Enemy's cover: it's a rare exception.) Though I've been doing my part to make it more well known via the medium of the AMV. It's a helluva song. Also putting in a good word for another Sinatra/Hazelwood collaboration that was just as good: _Lady Bird_.

  • @LordKelvin100 Thanks for this additional information. While "lost treasure" might be a little exaggerated, it amazes me how seldom this song is played on oldies stations. In fact, I can't even remember the last time I heard it. Such a shame because it really does have magic. Take care and thanks again.

  • @lesliepickens: I noticed that too. Doesn't make sense, especially with a song that's been covered as much as this one. These days, radio just plain SUX regardless of what it is: all chains, same playlists, no difference from sea to shining sea.

  • I totally adore this, all soft and dreamy and soooo creepy.... beautiful duet, perfect match, don't har this stuff anymore... Keep gong Art Bell...

  • This is a beautiful song, probably the best of their duets together...Thank you so much for posting....Norm

  • @ncaffrey001 Glad you enjoy it. Thank you!

  • This is the fucking JAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Gravitymann Wow! don't know what to say except....Thank you!
