  • Now to put it on a shopping cart

  • hey buddy, question is what ignition and how did you wire the ignition ? hit me up on email kyle_09@hotmail.com or on phone 918 448 2090 i got a garret a/r 60 building up for this

  • Now put that in a bike and where ready

  • That is Epic! me and my friends built a pitiful home made one that needed three people to run/regulate yours is amazing!

  • that thing gotta be efficient :P

  • Your vid is a favorite on Liberia

  • cool lighter!

  • Lol, homemade turbojet. How much thrust yo?

  • hahahh omg and WTF

  • is that a holset right?

  • i love that there is puddel of mudd playing in the backgroumd

  • Freakin' awsome...! God... I REALLY want one of those....

Oh... thumbs up for the "Holy S**T!" lool

  • I wonder what thrust this engine put out?

  • Comment removed

  • Marshmellows anyone?

  • I can see your EGTs are well within specs.

  • what you used as fuel??

  • Looks like my dick when im cumming

  • i have always wondered,

that thing runs red hot, but what if u submerge in entirely in water?, ofcorse the intake and exhaust would have to have , pipes going in and out from the water tank, but could you runt it much longer that way?

  • looking at that glowing white hot i suggest you put some kind of cooling around the end but still awsome

  • im confused... whats spinning the turbo? and where are the flames and heat coming from?

  • @Omgturboooo Its a jet engine, the turbo shoves air in, fuel is added in a combustion chamber, it explodes creating thrust, that goes through the other end of the turbo, making it spin, then it goes out the back into that long tube where more fuel is added and combusted, then compressed making even more thrust.

  • is the beer for drinking or for fuel

  • now touch it

  • HOW TO MAKE IT....i have a turbo from a Nissan RB26 engine....i wanna do this

  • How are you introducing the fuel into the combustion chamber? Is it being directly injected or is it sucking in the gas from the front where all those vapors where?

  • chk ma new engine design n 'hung' start at youtube.com/watch?v=TDjazTOWUco

  • Have you experienced any failures yet? If so, how many hours does the housing/bearings withstand the heat?! Thanks!

  • baller

  • its funny because todays jet engines are so fukking incredible complicated and this one is just totaly not that complicated(no offense) but stil it works

  • NOW PUT UR COCK ON IT!

  • @12BTRX3, could you take some time and explain how it works? Especially the beer part I don't get :)

  • that looks like an old turbo! did doint that compleatly destroy it? and how do you even do it?

  • Sick!

  • LOOKS LIKE A REDNECK HOUSE HEATER....SO MUCH NOISE...SO LITTLE THRUST. GIMME' ANOTHER BEER, PLEASE.

  • I don't think it"s "too cold" anymore outside.

  • buen trabajo los felicito aunque seria bueno comenzar a realizar diseños y utilizar elementos fabricados por ustedes mismos en lugar de chatarra pero como dije los felicito por su iniciativa

  • I gotta find an old turbo from a scrapyard or something. I wanna build one.

  • These are my kind of friends!

  • see a Engine madewith scraps. search on youtube the following sentence: Motor à combustão caseiro - homemade combustion engine

  • Sweeeeet , I bet ur neighbors love u :-)

  • need more beer= bigger better engine, maybe on a go-kart :)

  • I'm impressed gentlemen. It's one of the best home made jets i have ever seen.

  • how do i build a toy like this?

  • where the marshmellows at man lol

  • dangerous but awesome

  • Who gives a fuck if is dangerous .....Its awesome

  • it needs a lot of liquid nitrogen ....

  • The neighbors must hate you.

  • fit this bad boy to a go kart or something i'd pay to see that xD

  • Can u message me on how to make one of these?

  • i wish i had one of them in my garage...

  • Light me Johnny

  • Epic Win !!

  • Damn, you craaaazy ass neighbors !

    Sincerely - Canada

  • Thus is sweet how many lb's of thrust?

  • lol you crazy guys, would love to see that strapped to a car lol

  • You sir, win the internet.

  • That was cool, Nice job. the last one that I made had a smaller combustion chamber. But it works and that is what counts. Have you tried to put into a wheeled vehicle yet ?

  • aww come on im desperate, give me some thumbs up!

  • Sorry BREH, but when someone says they would like to see a video of my friends and i killed i tend to take it personal. When you build your jet engine you can do it however you like!

  • im not saying its not cool and I do have experience in turbines no reason to jump on the defense brahh but the fact that you have that intake uncaged is pretty risky and like my comment said I would catch a laugh to see it explode cause your boyfriend drops something in front of it and fods out your engine, maybe seeing someone die would be too much. maybe just to see it explode would be good enough.

  • @Emaster255 Thank you for coming along and telling me what is safe and what is not. You must have a tremendous amount of jet experience coupled with years of turbocharger experience to make these claims. I know it's dangerous, everyone else there knows it was dangerous. I guess thats the difference between you and i, you just watch videos on youtube while i actually put myself in harms way to entertain you!!!

  • @Emaster255 Hey I would subscribe to you shutting up!!

  • @Emaster255 You can die getting out of bed in the morning, and not have any fun doing it.

  • SH-SH-SHWEET!

  • Your neighbors must really hate you. XD

  • I bet the elderly suburban couple across the road were looking out their window thinking what the hell is that big pink loud thing shooting flames4 !!!

  • dare your to put your tongue on that

  • @aftoyboy oh,thats perfectly good to eat,the red part tastes like cherry and the yellow part like bananas :D

  • @GalTheJebac The brown part i suppose tastes like shnozberries? lol

  • That has got to be the best idea with an old trubo

  • hey does this put out any thrust

  • That's turbodog beer right?

  • i dont think it's good to have stem go in the engin

  • First jet powered garage i have seen! love the turbo wine

  • now attach that to a scooter and have some more fun :)

  • get a piece of roasted chicken and simulate a birstrike :D

  • I tip my hat to you guys. You have truly inspired me to want to attempt this my self. When the video of my engine exploding hits the web I'll give you props lol!

    Nice JOB!!

  • I bet your neighbors LUUUUVV you....:D

  • shit ,,,,I wasn't expect that 1:57 . nice job

  • this looks fucking dangerous and i like it :)

  • can you imagine having one of those in your garage in england and one of them community support officers walks past? i miss the good old days...

  • and then boom

  • Now to find an old turbo

  • hey, hey, touch that fucker. lol

  • why do i see water running into that napa bucket?

  • @giberish9 Its oil...

  • @giberish9 its to keep the internals of the turbo cool. theres probably actual oil lines running through that mess somewhere.

because ive never seen oil that color, or smoke that color, or smoke that much without it catching fire....

  • @giberish9 Looks like oil

  • please send me details video how thw jet engine is design.I appreaciate so much.

  • wow you really do let jt get hot i thought it was going to fail ....very impressive

  • i wish you were my neighbors!

  • thats fucking amazing but how do you make it turn faster or how do you turn it off?

  • would I be right in saying your combustion chamber is too small given the amount of fuel being burnt after the turbo? Pretty impressive still, I plan on making something like this once I get a cheap turbo

  • niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • So... how'd you burn down your garage?

  • huge turbo, what did it come off of??

  • very impressive .

  • Very impressive to watch but uber dangerous. I wouldn't want to be standing near that if there was mechanical failure and the rotor was thrown through the turbo casing.

  • Thumbs up if these guys should mount the beast onto wheels :D

  • give you a tenner to stick your tongue on it, haha

  • glad I don't live next to your house

  • your neighbors must love yal :)

  • A giant red hot turbo! yay!

  • How did the propellor NOT melt??? How did the whole thing NOT melt? xD

  • Hey Mate could you email me some tip's on making one I was thinking of a Jet propelled off road buggy

  • whats it running on? and the afterburner running on?

  • @rcfreak2493 most of these homemade jets are propelled by either propane or diesel, you can see he has a gas tank so hes running on diesel which is a perfect alternative to kerosene, kerosene is what is used in commercial jets, but a bit more expensive, the afterburner should be running on diesel as well, hope that answered your questions

  • has this got and after burner on it

  • wat is in the smoking bucket

  • looks hot : D

  • I want to know what kind of turbo that was/is. That thing took some abuse and it never gave it up. I'm impressed.

  • yay beer!! You need to hook up a rotisserie to that sucker! Turbo chicken

  • i'm surprised your garage didn't take off at like mach 4

  • "Hey baby... check out my big red schlong.... hahah"

Im speechless how sick, how dangerous, how wreck less, i want one... theirs gotta be beer in that coolant bucket hahaha. Crazy action in this garage. I wanna party with these dude... i wonder what the neighbors say

When you thought a turbine couldn't get molten hot. This garage brought you.... "THE HOT ROD"

Man, that thing has to make enough thrust to burst one of those coolant hoses out of the bucket and burn every one around...

  • im sure your neighbors love you :D

  • I was just waiting for a weld to fail at that temperature! Looked pretty cool though!

  • i think they work like this, air comes in and gets mixed with fuel between the cold and hot side, ignites and shoots out the hot side of the turbo, spinning the hot side turbine, which spins the intake turbine sucking in more air. its the exhaust that makes forward thrust.

  • @BUNCHofxs what occurs is the combustion chamber on the side has air blown through it by the compressor which is mixed with fuel and ignited which spins the turbine which is hooked to the compressor side so it keeps it spinning, then the remaining hot gasses are blown out producing thrust as well the turbine shooting out air at insane rates since these reach around 100,000 RPMs sometimes more.

  • @pyroboy08 Best explanation so far. but i have to say, you didnt tell me anything i didnt already know. I just suck at explaining things. but thanks for putting that out there.

  • 1:14its on booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooossssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst

  • I dont understand much about jet engines, but as far as I know it works like this: It sucks air at one end, compresses it, shoots it at the back where it is then mixed with fuel and ignited, the air particles expand and this causes thrust. Am I right?

  • better drink more beer..

  • So what parts did you guys use to make this besides the turbo? My friends and I want to do it as well but don't know what to use for the compression chamber, or the exhaust.

  • Comment removed

  • that rubbertube will melt :s

  • boom

  • That's the most awesome thing I've seen in such a long time!

  • that hose connecting to the nozzle? is it to spray fuel into the exhaust for the afterburner or is it just a sensor? also im guessing all that smoke is oil vapour but why is it vaporizing so much? does the oil go through the turbo then back to that bucket?

  • What fuel did you run in that beast? Propane or liquid?

  • i bet your neighbors love this.

  • That's too cool

  • I love how the guy throws the paper into the exhaust and it just goes "CYA!" lol

  • how'd you guys do the afterburner?

  • That looks like a gheko

  • Mmm Dr. Pepper

  • mount that mofo on a cropduster...

  • what's that thing running across the screen at 1:16?

  • A leaf.

  • trippy leaf

  • @13BTRX3 what are you guys running for fuel??

  • @spinout182 lol i think its a fucken roach dog.... lol

  • @spinout182 A HouseFly?

  • @spinout182 i think it might be a bit of rubbish or something like that from the wind the jet is making

  • @spinout182 yeah what a terrible looking little creature hahaha

  • LOL that turbo is TOAST!

  • How many thrust did you have?

  • GReddy turbo, nice haha

  • how far is the air blast

  • fuck yeah. awesome video.

how did you keep enough oil flowing to the turbo?

  • i wounder if i could use it to cook my dinner when im out camping. BAD ACE!

  • im surprised that thing hasnt melted off yet lolz

  • i thought i said somethin about this video, anyways bad ass shit!!!

  • why doesn't it rip right off that stand? it sounds like it has alot of thrust behind it. i dont know much about jet engines.

  • @reedville123 most of those small turbine engines only push like +7 lbs of thrust they sound powerful but not so much

  • It's much more than that. With the AB lit it would bend the late it was mounted to. We actually had to brace it for fear of it snapping off. I am guessing between 60-80lb of thrust. If you let go of the stand it would shoot across the shop.

  • @13BTRX3 hah! that puts my pulse jet to shame, it weighs 150 pounds, is seven feet long and puts out a whopping 25 pounds of thrust, it can't even move itself along the ground

  • The turbo is pushing a few bar pressure here. It's feeding back on itself, and the fuel itself is creating a huge amount of pressure that a stock turbo isn't designed to produce. That throat is about 4 sq. inches, and a turbo doing 15psi can get 60 pounds of thrust easy. psi in the chamber times throat area = thrust.

  • @hornyarab11< That's only at low speed in a car, you're thinking of boost not thrust. One of the Men at my station has a turbo jet he built for his boat. Had a machine shop rig and balance an output shaft and for shits and giggles put it on an engine dyno. That little sucker put 180 HP to the shaft which is insane considering an Allison 250 turbo-shaft helicopter engine puts out 250 to 300 hp. Pushes that 15 foot boat to about 40-45 knots.

  • great video! what'd you use for your ignition and oil pump?

  • looks like a dogs red rocket lol

  • LOL

  • i just lov that cherry red color it turned...

    awsome

  • It´s great! How do you start the rotation of the turbo?

  • With a leaf blower.

  • I wish you guys were my neighbors!!! That is totally rad.

  • nice oiler lmao! good job tho!

  • exhaust from an engine or whatever they have turns a prop in the intake which has a shaft that goes to the compressor that then compresses the air to great pressures releases it and then you put a little exselerent into the heated air and that makes a flame

  • Could u tell me the rpm?

  • So a turbo forces an compresses air into a tube and ingnites it and creates extremely high pressure Which forces it out the back through another propeller which in turn drives the first turbo? Am I right?

  • @freezinteen

For the most party, yes. Although a turbocharger doesn't ignite the air. It just compresses/atomizes it before it enters the engine. Another thing, the first turbine/propeller is powered by the exhaust of an engine. Hope this helps.

  • @freezinteen Thats only a single turbo. The output from the compressor is fed to the input on the exhaust side. Then fuel is injected and ignited causing that to be exhausted out of the back of the engine drawing more air in through the compressor stage.

  • @freezinteen pretty much.

  • when the metal gets red, i was freaked out.

HAHA. thought it'll melt and splats.

  • how mutch force it produce?

can it be used to make jet plane?

  • realyy goodddd, it´s grat, well done friends, how much is the rpm?
