  • The most Difficult Singing made look so easy! The comfort level of this lady is such a treat to watch. Not to forget the great match of music compo.

  • Amazing! My all time fav singer!!!!

  • Thanks team COKE STUDIO PK, you did us proud!

  • Awesome singing from one of my fav singers!

  • I love your song even that I do not know what is saying. My grandmother was an India and she die without meeting me.,djangelsinthefield@gmail.com

  • This song catches the sentiment of the oppressed people of South Asia. Our politicins, our police, our employers and corrupt judicairies are well appealed by the lyrics. Tina can be the queen of what happened during the "Arab Spring" as dictator after dictator fell and aristocracy and powerful custodians took the first flights out to European capitals. Songs like this can move us for a Pakiatni and Indian Spring as we reform our societies!

  • Its just amazing ... there is'nt an adjective in the english dictionary, that I could use to express my feelings about this song. Unlike many here, I allways thought Pakistan had great treasures in music, right from Nazakat Ali & Salmat Ali days, but I just was'nt prepared for the younger generation. So Tina Sani is probably a personal discovery for me. My only complain possibly is, my personal inability to understand punjabi-urdu mix, that limits my understanding of its treasured lyrics

  • amazing voice. God bless

  • now seriously who can dislike this O.o

  • After all this time, still chills!!!

  • Amazing Poetry, Among the best i ever listened, beautifully sung. i've become tina's fan.

  • ahhh just love this one....blissful

  • wonderful..

  • this is indian classical hindustani music

  • My imagination fails...and now Tina Sani (first time ever hearing this one) ..How come Pakistan produces so many gems of music ? Whoa.....this singer takes music to a level where you simply don't care about anything...to hell with those whoever thought they know music....to hell with those who show cause that music today is 80% the work of sound engineers...Today, I felt what I heard long time back - there indeed is MUSIC for the SOUL....God Bless you, Tina Sani...!

  • the emotions that run through me when i hear this track are un describable. this goes beyond music.. its pure unadulterated harmony in sync with everything around it. every time i hear this i feel close to the creator. thats the only way i can describe this...

  • ager ghor say suno samajh kay ... koi na roye to naam badal do mera. :,( God !!! Who wrote this piece!!! its so not fromt his earth its so not

  • rula diya. yaar

  • If i am understanding this right then it is ignorance, i never knew tina sani could sing anything like this or rohail hayat will allow anything like this to be played.

  • speechless....................!

  • seems like all indian are listening to coke studio...wonderful!

  • speechless........

  • Why does this song end?

  • OMG, their music and voices are so pure without the commercial pollution....

  • You can have Kashmir, if you give us this Coke Studio.

  • @mdrangnekar I am writing from Bangladesh. I found and mp3 CD in Kolkata, which off course I purchased. What was sad was that the CD was available on street-side vendors, not in established shops. That was really sad.

  • would you indians stop doing such comments???? its weird and dont seem even good....

i m an indian and listening Pakistani music.. shows how much racists you are.. do we coment like i m a pakistani and listening indian music???

  • @nbina1, yes you guys also do that. It's not weird at all.

  • @nbina1 so agreed !

  • @nbina1: When they say 'i am an Indian; it is actually a token that they Had to listen to this beautiful piece of music created by Pakistan and they just couldn't listen and move on without acknowledging. You should better see that quick or nbina becomes nabina quicker :P

  • @nbina1 its not racist dost. its just sumone expressing their Respct being from the country deemed Enemies by pakistan and vice versa fer yrs.. its jst a way of showing total respect n grace ! .. u shud be happy that indians comment wit a pure heart and not give gaalis unlike other youtube posts ul see.

  • Fabulous singing..God bless Pakistanis, hope they continue to promote such artists, music and peace. Whenever I listen to Nusrat Fateh Ali or this lady or such other Pakistani greats, I really wish I were a Pakistani too !

  • greattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt Tina Ji

  • My GOD....how panic song............TINA...Saaani......u always have a wonderful voice along with great poetry songs.........the voice the GOD...gave...u...is really dont have words to appreciate as maximum as possible.....Respect u alot..and love u always.....

  • Pakistani friends should be proud of such unbelievable talent. Phenomenal voice. genuinely gifted musicians. and to think that bollywood bubble gum is choking all theairwaves in this part of the word.

    Stunned, blessed. numb.

Enhaan artists tay taan rabb di mehr ai. jeonday rayn.

  • @vbvishalbhatnagar This is product of composite culture (also called fusion by dumbasses). Wonderful things happend when two cultures combine....in this case persian and indic cultures.

  • any kind of possession is never permanent try and love people not possessions

  • I'm an Indian American encountering Tina Sani and Sanam Marvi for the first time. Love at first sight (and sound). These women have left me bleeding. I'm a puddle on the floor. Someone call an ambulance...that'll drive me to Pakistan.

  • @gopmagister

nice comment Indian brother....appreciate u always

  • @gopmagister awwwwwww such a sweet comment!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @gopmagister :) what a feeling you are going through!!!!

  • What a woman: beautiful, graceful, dignified...tremendous voice, full of feeling, cultivated but with that husky folk edge that cuts like a knife. I'd commit ritual suicide for her...and I'm Indian, not Pakistani. It's the same cultural continuum...the hell with fake borders created by white men with agendas and sustained by brown political assholes on both sides.

  • This should be the new national anthem of Pakistan

  • @coronation76 And there was me thinking it sounds like the same raag as Vande Mataram. Music works in the most mischievous ways.

  • just stunned by her performance

  • This is just so divine...some poetry still left in music unlike what many would claim

  • This is just so divine...some poetry still left in music unlike what may would claim

  • What an song, this reminds me how different we punjabies are, we are on both sides of border India and Pakistan but we share the same culture. I wish I could go back in time and live in united punjab so rich, an envy for all.

  • Yar gaya to acha hay but Allah ki zaat se shikva kr k mujhe majboor kar dia hay k isay download na karun.

  • Noorjahan out-Noorjahaaned!

Finallly, it is also time that we gave Raag Des its due.

After all, behind Tina's magic, great in its own right, work this Raag's phrases, somewhat so

re ma pa ni dha pa pa dha pa ma ga re ga sa, so!

Salute to Ragas! In right hands, they can pull the hearts out, make emotions run riot, in fact invoke the best that there is in human make ups.

  • coke studios has upbraught the true essence of music,,,,,,,which was otherwise daying in the corner.......and rivaval is BIG...........

  • 3 people are too rude to Plea -/

  • This is unbelievably beautiful!

  • tina sani rocks !!

  • what should i say? i feel so tiny to comment here. every time i listen to this, i struggle to cope with being myself.. my soul tries to fly away and i tend to hold on to it... the spiritual feeling that comes from this beautiful poem is amazing. they must listen to this when they call is terrorists and say bad about Pakistan. we are defined by Sufi's, talented singers such as Tina Sani, not any known terrorist organisation. i hope and pray that our peaceful days will come back and we stand proud

  • Can anyone please tell me the name of the poet? Thanks.

  • Truly magical, touched my heart and my soul!?

  • When you come to a point in life that you start appreciating these sufi music, you know, that music is not something that you just like to listen but a little more than that, not a pile a of lyrics sang melodiously but just a little more that, sth that cannot be explained which i've been trying to do but just a little more than that, something words fall short to describe but felt through ur heart and soul and probably a little more than that.... sigh!!!

  • Wonder how a song can be so beautiful...can't understand most of it but still this is my playlist from last 2 days...hats of to you mam!!!

  • @nejiboud...hi...she is saying the right word...its a song written in rural hindi...like the songs of amir khusrou...listen to chaap tilak sab cheen....an amir khusrou classic...pir means pain in hindi...so jiya ki pir means pain of heart...jiya is heart in hindi...hope that helps:)

  • Remarkable poetry and excellent composition. i have listened to it 7 times on repeat just now already and will keep listening.

main nu shahi nahi chahye di rub meray.. main tay izzat da tukkar mangna..

meriyan manain tay main teriyan manna.. wooh!

  • Main poetry of Faiz Ahmed Faiz

  • damn touching song....<3 it

  • I JUST LOVE THIS.....

  • Listening to such soulful music completely disorients me. I begin to wonder if I'm Indian or Pakistani... and I don't mind it really telling you.Political lines can't decide who we are... after all we crave for the same food, clothes, Music, ideology and ethics.

Thank you Tinaji for this awesome performance. I hope this political line diminishes for good.

  • its just a miracle that somebudy can sing so powerful... she seems to be in her own planet when she sings so deeply...... ''HATS OFF''

  • the word 'Jia' has been used in so many songs both in india and pakistan ...but the way Amir Khusroo used it in First Line if this poetry "Moori Arj Sunoo Dastageer Peer......Kasay kahaoon main appnay jeeya ki peer' is very beautiful ..aur jitni khoosoorti aur intensity k sath likha gaya hai Tina sani nay woh dard, emotion aur woh intensity appni voice say deliver bhi ki hai.......i never found or heard my Name so much beautiful in any other song~
