  • judy rose 541-683-5243.. got it

  • hey ty dude for the vid. I wash thinking of ordering one of those, but that disc is a bit to much for my skill for now.

  • less talkie, more throwie.

  • It is not the most overstable disc ever made. Not then and not now. The Extreme made by Discraft back in the late 90's is my favorite get out of trouble disc. It is the most overstable disc I have ever thrown. There are a few new ones like the Flick that are close, and maybe a few others I don't have at the moment. Unfortunatly Discraft discontinued the Extreme more than likely because it was to overstable. If I ani the hell out of the Extreme it's flexing out 100 feet or so into its flight

  • lamo

  • :20 its the fastest dick

  • i just started and i can throw 300 so shut up if u assume people are lying maybe you just suck

  • I throw this disc sidearm and can easily hit 300+ with it

  • i called the number at the bottom of the disc.. he stole that disc in the video

  • @guitarmeach1234 He didn't steal the disc. It's the same number on every disc...that, or he stole a whole bag of discs. Because they aren't his discs would probably explain why he knows jack shit about every disc he talks about.

  • @guitarmeach1234 He found it or flat out stole it? I put my name and number on my discs and out of all I've lost only three have been returned. My old Orc I lost someone found and called. Check this out, the guy wanted 15 dollars and for me to drive 20 miles to come get it! I wish I could run into him just to give him crap. Why would you even call someone and say I found your disc but I want you to pay me more than it cost new and drive to get it? One of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

  • Comment removed

  • @christopherb27 did you pay to get it back?

  • @guitarmeach1234 Hell no!!! I have hundreds of discs I've won or found/traded for over the years. I won at Airy Ace Fund Tuesday and got a first run Monarch, a second run Monarch and a first run Orc. All out of the used bin. Fred and company have some gold on there sometimes!!!

  • @guitarmeach1234 Heck no. The Pro shop at my local course has six bens with pro plastic or better and I got a first run Orc for eight bucks! Better shape than the one I lost. At that course it's easy to lose disc if you throw over 350 and cant see where it lands. Thats the only one though someone kept. The rest I've lost where turned in to the pro shop and the owner called me and I came and picked it up. I also bought a brand new Champ Boss. Super fast and stable. Skips a mile too!

  • @guitarmeach1234 is lying. He didnt call the number. Never believe him ever

  • check out spinnerdisk. the newest and latest addition to Frisbee Sports worldwide. Fast decisive handle for "out of the air" catching. Catch it spinning so you can run the frisbee for extra distance. GREAT NEW INVENTION. CHECK IT OUT

  • Whippit. Nuff said.

  • I don't quite agree I've been able to turn it over, and there was no wind. I will say it is a very good disc though

  • I don't quite agree I've been able to turn it over, and there was no wind

  • This guy is a fool.

  • Cool wall of text.

  • The firebird is the most overstable disc I know of.

  • ive played with jon stone hes pretty good prolly 5 under average

  • I have been playin for a week and im gettin 250 with this disc

  • @thenameontheback yeah right ive been playing for two years and i just hit 300 so stop lying

  • ExpertVillage = Idiotic FudgePackers

  • Wow, i'm sorry but this guy's an idiot. The Destroyer is NOT the most overstable disc in disc golf, and it's not even overstable PERIOD! Hell, in my opinion the Destroyer is the most STABLE long distance driver in disc golf. When you let it rip it goes super fast and super straight. I could probably name 15+ discs that are more overstable. The XCaliber, Flick, Firebird, Monster, TeeRex, and Max are probably the most overstable discs in disc golf.

  • Two years later, the destroyer is still the best distance driver in my opinion. I wonder when they actually start using experts in the ""expert"village" videos.

  • the max is stupid over stable.. way to much

  • For being from "expert village", you must be the villiage idiot. The destroyer is NOT the "most overstable disc on the market."

Know your subject before speaking, please. Jeez.

  • that is not the most overstable disc in disc golf!!!!!!!! I can name five discs that are more overstable than that.

    1. Boss

    2. Predator

    3. Monster

    4. Flick

    5. Drone (and thats a midrange) Is this guy for real!!!!?????????

  • @ATGDAWG55 Exactly what i was thinking while watching this!!!! You could aslo add to your list the t rex and x caliber

  • @95blake59 I could but i never thrown one of those, but this guy acts like the destroyer is so overstable that you shouldn't throw one.

  • this vid is 2 yrs old but i still think R-Pro Boss is better

  • got one today. very hard to throw flat. get a valkyrie!

  • @paintballlpplayer45 I like my Champion Destroyer for fairway drives and low forehand flicks. I can't drive it as far as my Star Xcaliber.

  • @sh1yne i hear ya. im throwing my 172g tie dye valk 400+ on flat ground. after throwing the destroyer a few rounds, i've realized that its best for what you just said. thanks for the help and may you're discs always find the chains.

  • @paintballlpplayer45 After I broke in my Destroyer I can now outdrive my Star Xcal. I didn't like it much at first, but I spent about 30 minutes practicing drives in an open field and once I found out the way to throw it for d(I throw medium hight slightly left(RH-forehand) with a TON of flick and will stay straight with a medium right turnover. It's a freaking beast in the wind too!

  • If you have another first run Destroyer or maybe a first run Wraith you would be willing to get rid of for some $. Message me.

  • I can turn over my Destroyer and I use it for anhyzer shots that require a low ceiling. If I throw it high it will glide left. I only throw 350-400 right now but I am only just now 1 year in. Biggest problem I have with my Destroyer is remembering to use it. Grooves and what not.

  • yeah guys, if your trying to get ligit tips, don't listen to this, not very accurate at all.

  • this guy obviously doesnt have the arm to throw a destroyer if he needs anny on it

  • whoh, the destroyer really isnt very stable at all, i have a big arm but i can turn over my destroyer when i want to.

  • I have a 172g pro destroyer as my main driver. The destroyer is -1 turn 3 fade. I throw mine flat. The turn for discs is really more of a "bank" than a turn. So it will bank right slightly (RHBH), flatten out...then fade left. As it banks, the orientation of the nose changes so the inside wing becomes the nose. I drive sidearm and average 400-430 when I release it correctly.

  • The destroyer has a negative turn, it's not even close to being the most overstable disc on the market.

  • Comment removed

  • notice when the video came out, april 2008, idiot.

  • aha you suck expert village idiot

  • This disc is not as overstable as this guy is making it seem im a 2 year golfer and i can throw it about 320 to 350 and it does have turn but not a ton and you just need to throw it a few time to get used to it.

  • The star DESTROYER is understable for pros but for amaturs it can be quite overstable but for me it turns to the right very hard and i have thrown this disc 530 feet.

  • "... i have thrown this disc 530 feet."

Is that internet distance or REAL distance??

    /rolls eyes

  • Comment removed

  • i have two destroyers, one brand new and one pretty worn in. neither of them are overstable, if anything they are understable imo. i throw RHFH and when i release it level, it stays completely level till the end where is fades slightly. this guy is an idiot. just got a champion groove today, we'll see how that works out

  • the groove is garbage...

  • is the boss any better because i am trying to decide between the two

  • in my opinion the boss is better, but it depends on how far you throw, what kind of shot your looking for. the Feldberg boss is kinda stable and good for long hyzers or for distance if you can flip it. for ppl who throw 420 or more. the groove isn't that understable, so don't let the chart fool you. but its good of distance because i can be flipped easier. If you throw 400 you can flip it and it will fly far!

  • Just say no to discs that go to 11!!!

Get a Starfire, Orc or Beast

  • Why? Doesn't more speed mean more distance.

  • No, the world distance record is STILL held by a Valkyrie. A half an hour before that throw, a DX Teebird was thrown 810'. A destroyer has never been thrown that far.

  • Wow Thanks for you all your help it helped a lot!

  • If you want help learning about disc golf, go to discgolfreview ddot ccom slash forums.

There's a few full time profesionals who post there.

  • =/ my friend lost his Valkyrie on the 18th hole by us. Not only that he lost another disk of his earlier in that game...not a good day for him. He has a teebird too though he likes to call it the treebird since for him it loves to deck trees like a magnet to them.

  • The more you bang TeeBirds into trees, the better they fly especially in DX plastic! The go from being a slightly overstable driver, to a nice understable turn-over disc.

  • He actually in his nice long drives gets that thing to do a nice s though the last half of the s barely straitens it out for a landing usually a bit left of strait ahead of him.

  • starfire is the shit, orc is ok, and beast is ok, has a tendency to roll the opposite direction you want it to go lol

  • I love the lightweight Pro Starfires. They're a little flippy and have sick glide that goes forever!

  • @batemapa I have a ton of Destroyers and everyone is different. The stars are ok but I have a champion that will not turn over unless you ani the hell out of it. Then I have a few in pro plastic that arent even as stable as my pro Wraiths. I have a lot of the same weight, plastic and even color discs from Innova and I swear some of them have completly different flight characteristics. Does anyone know if this is because there getting gunk in the presses? I just got an Ape today, good disc.

  • 'big arms....350 feet' lol!

  • when mine was new, it turned over very quick. now that i've worn it in, it tends to stay a straight shot.

I use the Champion Groove now if i need one to turn faster.

  • my destroyer doesnt not turn over that much at all. mine is pretty stable side arm is the best way to throw it.

  • my destroyer turns over and i dont have that big of arm 350 max if you want a stable disc get an excalibur

  • @Bnick9

you are so right man. i use both the destroyer and the xcaliber, and i have to say the destroyer is the wraith, but a bit faster and more stable, mine still turns, xcaliber is the most overstable disc i've ever thrown, it is super wind resistant, and will NEVER turn. an awesome disc to be sure.

  • destroyers are understable discs

  • Here's the problem: He does not have enough arm to throw the Destroyer. If you throw it hard enough, it does not fade until the low-speed flight at the end. A very big arm will actually make it turn right initially, before fading left at the end (all assuming RHBH throws).

  • the champ boss is faster speed of 13

  • it wasn't out yet

  • you do realize this vid is a year old ?

  • This guy really has little understanding of disc golf. I like the fact fact that he is trying to educate new players but not with false information. The TeeRex and Max both fade much harder than a destroyer will.

  • your an idiot. you have, no concept of our sport. start with a shark and a roc. Then club up as you get better at basic control. destroyers aren't that beefy, once they get bear they'll flip pretty easy actually.

  • pro destroyers also have much better glide but beware the turn over.

  • to all new people playing DO NOT listen to this guy. he is stupid. if your new, throw putters, they will work

  • dude...before you start making videos, you should get your information straight. It's nice that you are trying to help but...

  • You are an F'n MORON.

This is not the most overstable thing Innova makes. And "big arm" throwers aren't throwing 350.

Wow, this just amazes me how you spurt out so much BS that is not true

  • Why is a n00b like you pretending to be an expert??

  • I think if you are going to broadcast yourself presenting a company's product, you should at least pronounce it correctly.

  • it actually has a -1 turn meaning its slightly understable!

  • You have to check out the boss...its amazing

  • How far do you throw it?

  • now that i beat it in a little bit a good 430 ft

  • a DX Teebird has been thrown over 800' in competition. the boss hasn't.

    you do the math....

  • yea but what if some people cant throw a tee bird because its not overstable enough?? ..yea...

  • If you can't throw a TeeBeird 400'+, there's a problem with your technique. You probably have O.A.T.

  • or because ive only been playing a year in a half...hmmm

  • i call it frolf

  • I find that the Pro Destroyer is not only more stable than a Star, it also flies farther!

  • Orc, baby!!!

  • FOLF GEEKS!! Too funny.

  • Destroyers Brand new in star plastic come rated even stability depending on whos scale you look at. But its definitely not overstable, this guy is an idiot for sure

  • who cares about the destroyer or xcaliber being a 12.

    the BOSS is a 13!!

  • And a speed 13 disc is too fast for 98% of us. If you can't throw a cyclone or gazelle 350 than you should not be touching a Boss. I can't so no Boss for me. BTW I am just trying to help. I bet Ben stone can't. He's just trying to sell Innova.

  • that is actually an "excalibur" um dude......not a destroyer.....

  • Typical fuckin idiot!!!

  • what do you use to clean the #3 off it?

  • Uhhh...A destroyer is not really overstable at all. I have a DX Destroyer and a Pro Destroyer and they both turn over about as easily as a DX/Pro Wraith.

If you want overstable go with a Star Max...turning that thing over is near impossible.

  • if you find a CFR destroyer (champion plastic). it is much more stable than dx, pro, and star. it is overstable but the two plastics you are throwing are flippy plastics to begin with.

i agree with destroyer not being very overstable, there is the flick, force, xCaliber, firebird, monster, max which are all more overstable than the destoyer.

if you dont like the disc then dont throw it i guess is all anyone can tell you, but i personally get the most distance out of a star destroyer.

  • What the fuck?? this guy just looked at innovas flight charts and decided to make a shitty video about it. At high speeds the destroyer will flip out on you. and its NOT the most overstable disc on the market.not even close!!! Id like to see how he throws a Monster, Max or Predator haha

  • maybe when you first buy a disc its of course more overstable but my destroyer wrecks lives and chains

  • The Destroyer is a total stable disc, not over stable.

  • this guys an IDIOT, it is not over stable lol

i throw 500 MAX, and the sds is STABLE, not OVER STABLE, don't listin to him...

  • I hope no noobs are listening to this guy. He hasn't taught anything except what disc he likes, the weight, and the same mumbo jumbo on everyone of his videos. Why don't you throw it for us, show us your form and technique? Would be a lot more helpful. Someone see if they can get the number off his disc and call him and let him know to stop making videos.

  • Haha I love how the tip is basically implying to throw it annhyzer. It's an incredibly fast disc that can go far, but I put hyzer on it every time if I'm going for distance.

  • i throw it mainly flat then it hyzers toward the end by itself. but if i tip it on an anny it goes and goes and goes

  • you are a n00b

  • agreed! this guy sounds like he's been playing 8 months tops!!!

  • my fav disc!! i bought it in hot pink cause i usually play at Sandy Point Ranch & Disc Golf Rsort, which is in the middle of the woods, so its easy to see

  • rocathon25 is right, I can flip this disc aswell. And there is a -1 turn on this disc. If you want a more stable driver for non-beginners, I recommend an Innova Firebird or a Monster.

  • Not excatly correct i find that i tends to be very flippy very so into a headwind a good for nonwindy but if its windy i would turn to a firebird or a Tee-Rex

  • The Star Destroyer comes in just under the X-Caliber on the charts. It is an incredibly overstable driver. I find that when I purposely try to burn in to the right and get off a good snap, it'll carry super far and produce a beautiful "S" curve.

  • no matter what, if you up your wing that much and launch it nose down it will almost always be understable, it you throw it right and the same way everytime. just like some of you guys have said already, everything this guys has said is WRONG...

  • Your Right it was my Star X Caliber. Confusing day. I didn't realize that these Videos were for You Tube. Helping a friend. Not trying to be a know it all. Just being myself!!!Cheers

  • that disc is NOT the most over stable...i used that thing only once and i threw it the farthest ive ever thrown a disc...i suggest geting one...i used my cousins and after i threw it i bought one.. but its not that over stable at all

  • the disc he is describing (verbally) and the disc he shows both make it look like it is a star x-caliber... the destroyer is nowhere near the most overstable disc that innova makes... and it wasn't even the most overstable release of it's year (2008) it came out right around the same time as the x-caliber, and the x-caliber is one to the left in overstability on innova's website, in my experience and from what i hear from everyone i've talked with... i think he may just be confused...

  • it came out in 2007... cuz i got mine in august of last year. and thats exactly what mine looks like... as does my x-caliber. but i just picked up the x. 3 weeks ago. but their almost identical in design in shape... but i can get the x idk 50-80 feet further. so my x usually hits 400-450 my best throws w/ the destroy were just over 400, but thats sorta rare for me... but i must agree this guy doesnt seem to know what he is rambling on about lol

  • pretty much everything this guy said was wrong.

  • You should definitely have someone with more experience describing how discs fly. You need to realize that the disc might fly really overstable for a beginner, where it will flip over to the left and fade back right for a high power thrower. The destroyer is one of my straightest flying distance drivers and your descriptions are only correct for weaker throwers. Besides that the videos are pretty cool, you just need to be clearer when you try to explain disc characteristics.
