If you want this TV for gaming, its not recomended.High Input Lag is an issue your better off going for the C530 or C580!

@ChiefPredz look man all video games console like ps3 & 360 must be played on a 120hz or plasma TV's unless you want to play in intense motion blur, those C530 or C580 are 60hz, I that lesson long ago, samsung tv's going by review of gamer, game company's are the best TV for gaming

@RandyWells3000 I've owned 3 Samsung LCD HDTV's and i've never seen any "intense motion blur". Yeh ur right....they are great for gaming im just saying this perticular model suffers high Input Lag (if you dont believe me check hdtvtest.com).And as for you saying video games consoles need to played on 120hz TV's...if ur talking about Samsungs...then im assuming you'd be using Game Mode (for better performance) in which case the TV is defaulted to 60hz so 120hz wouldnt make a difference!

@RandyWells3000 Not sure about the LN40C630, why dont you try Googleing it for a review? I've just bought the LE40C580 and its a cracking TV (Freeview HD, very good for gaming) for the price.If your thinking about getting any of the 530 series...just go for the 580 series instead they're a better TV in every regard for the extra £50 or so!! As for Sony Bravia's...all i know is they're very expensive!!!

If so i cant help you out there my friend...i'm from England mate and im guessing the TV's over your way have different codes to here so i wouldnt know what the equivelent is! I'll try Googleing it for you but basically its a 5 SERIES!

@samosvojsm -the applications are free and all of the games are free to download and play, but some games are try-outs(not full, I guess). though, there are no games to buy, actually there is nothing to buy (at least, yet, in Greece). But I think it depends of the country you are in. In some countries there are some extra applications and maybe options to buy games. as for a video demonstration, I was thinking of making one, but I was too busy making a 3D video clip and had no time! :)

i bought that tv and it has 100 Hz. When i watch regular tv channels it says 50 Hz and when i play xbox 360 it says 60 Hz. What should i do to make everything on 100 Hz?

It's also worth pointing out to gamers that while all LCDs (with and without LED) suffer from input lag, Samsung have been known to be a fair bit slower even in Game Mode. So that should be a red light to Modern Warfare/Guitar Hero fans and other games dependent on lightning fast reactions. For gaming TVs, apparently LGs are good, but Plasma technology is the most responsive in this department.

Sorry, that's not to turn people away from Samsungs. Even at the standard LCD end, they receive very high grades from critics, in the picture quality department. Also they have far more distinctive and eye catching designs (they often involve some colour effect along the bezel somewhere) than many competitors - something not to be overlooked when a 40"+ piece of technology is sitting in the middle of your room.

I love it !! the pic like LED the ultra clear panel is perfect not too much reflection.. but the internet is not that good takes a while to load .. I prefer using my computer to access the internet or just hooking the laptop to the TV if I want a bigger screen ...

@atakan5909 - I'm very satisfied! pros: perfect picture(like LED), true black color, plays mkv files, dts support, internet@TV(with youtube, facebook, google maps, weather, games and more!), design, everything!

cons: can't think of any serious cons! well, if I have to say, I could say that it has so many picture settings that I can't decide which combination to choose(all seem great) and the not so good sound of the speakers but this is probably because of the analog TV channels.
