i am a big fan of maurizio,, even thou i'm from philippines, my category is youth c, next year i will be an adult, even thou the competition it tough i never loose hope because of my idols, like bryan watson, maurizio vescovo, slavik, etc,,, they give me strengh to fight, even thou, i don't have a proper training i won 6th place in 4th dancesport sa sugbo and 3rd cebu open to the world latin and standard, i just watch their moves and try to copy them, simetimes instruction videos, go maurizio go

That is some long and intense argument all just about maurizio. Anyways, there's goods & bads about his dancing. The good thing is he has this indescribable amount of energy which he puts in his dance which makes his dancing look lively and energetic. Unfortunately, ever since he became No.1 he starts to throw and misuse that energy and it's just too difficult for the eye to take. It just looks horrible! But i must say Melinda is one of the best girls on the dance floor:)

Yes, I feel the same way, Wutaiyuffie. I actually though the previous EC and WCs where they danced against Stokkebroes they were dancing better than now (and should've won by miles).

as always, vescovo and his usually over-the-top styling and attitude towards dancing. saturated personality that it blurs his choreography too much as well as the messages they are attempting to convey. what was meant to be an aggressive paso doble, for example, turned out to be something pompous and arrogant in performance and in execution.

It is also ironic how you are "parroting" Watson and Hardy with their comments. Not that I disagree with them looking back in time. However, Vescovo has come a long way from those supermegaenergeticDuracellbunn­y days.
