  • Finally....Another guy with a sense of humor. I love the subtitles and your wife is great with a camera just like mine. Awesome flight for sure. I have a messershmidt and somewhat the same flight characteristics. Gotta fly 'em in.

    Nice video..

    Doodbou1...

  • @DOOODBOY1 Thanks and more thanks - I checked out your very cool vids, too- sweet!

  • @DOOODBOY1

Thanks again. Like I said, it's great to find some personality like yourself.

    Great channel.

  • 0:41 I believe they were 20mm cannons.

  • @Crazylegs973 Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! That's right! 20mm cannons in the belly! Lots of guns on this plane! What does he win, Bob? "Well, Steve, Crazylegs973 wins an all expenses paid vacation to the Killerplanes Sweatshop! It's a fun filled week of gluing your fingers and clothes to a bunch of RC Planes, with Steve melting stuff with a torch and laughing about his dopey joke about "Cheese of Magnesia" (I still say it's the funniest thing I ever thought of)

  • Man, this model is nice. Was going to get a P47 but maybe I should get this.

  • @hawkeyesurfer Personally, I like this one better, but I could be the wrong person to ask, I've been in love with it since I saw "633 Squadron"- a super cheesy movie with OUTSTANDING footage of real Mosquitos! I also got to see one fly once at the 50th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy- QUITE impressive!! If you do want this baby, go for the upgrade props- they turn it into a ROCKET

  • Handsome plane =)

  • @TeekiesPlace Yes she is! Do you have one?

  • Steve apparently the stock props unload in flight was to much thus why full throotle most of the time. Ive read on rcgroups MAS 9x7x3 are the way to go and even better on 4s.

  • @sbolandatutube We have some of those to try, I just never got around to it- we settled on 10 x 7 x 3 with the 4s, and it RIPS- you can see her ripping in the "maiden landing" vid- the quiet props in that vid are the 10x7x3 - I'm going to try those others to compare-Thanks!

  • WOW, An ol lady who digs the hobby! Where did you find her?

  • @GeneticallySuperior1 She was in the back display at Automated Wives Warehouse- just a little dusty. She even came with a camera attached! Look for The Lovely Denise model- I think they all have cameras, too.

  • You seem like a nice guy, will you be my Alcoholics Anonymous Sponsor?

  • @GeneticallySuperior1 Yes. Let's start with the first step- purchasing an RC plane (our steps are somewhat different...)

  • 20mm Machine Guns.

  • @3801Catcher Close!

  • @Killerplanes Browning .303!

  • @3801Catcher Ta-Daaaa! We have a winner! You're also right about the 20mm Cannons, in the belly (the HC Mosquito has firing ports for the 4 cannons, too- nice touch)

  • omg i can picture this guy drunk!

  • @antoniovski (Sound of slurred cursing and glass breaking) WHo yOu caLLinG DruNkk?? (Sound of face hitting floor) Bassserd! (Sound of liquid hitting floor) Uhhhhhggghhhhnnnmmm. (Sound of snoring)

  • Ha ha ha ha ha! I guess that does make you look kinda cool! Lol Another great vid!

  • @TheLipRipp3r We love you! (Denise) : D

  • its got a great sound, looks very good in the air but yes it is too tail heavy. it this because of the crash-proofing? also, - now i want an honest answer here - what the run time, as being twin engine electric i cant imagine it being more than a few minutes. it is for this reason i like gas R/C as i just re-fill it and away i go again, i hate waiting for battery charging.

  • @thx1103n from what i could tell from the vid its only 3 minutes fly time, which would totally turn me off from buying one for previous mentioned reasons. 3min fly time, 30 min charge time, no point in taking it out really unless u have 10 batteries or so, even then coming in for landings every 3 mins for a battery change would be a pain in the arse. although gas is messier to deal with it means i can fly for up to 20mins between refills then go fly again.

  • @thx1103n we're doing more flight test and we'll figure out the CG. I think the biggest thing is the props, which flex. We're testing other props, too. We should end up with a 3000mAh 4 cell or 4000mAh 3 cell for 10 min flight times- also, CHECK PART 2- the crashproofing design REALLY works on this baby!!!

  • @thx1103n Of course it's a matter of personal preference, but check out HC HOBBY MOSQUITO MAIDEN LANDING -- we've got the time in the air up to 5 minutes - which really makes a difference! Still ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Just keep flying! : D enise

  • @thx1103n- still trying to figure the tail heavy out, since the CF behind the wing only weighs 30g on a 1900g plane. It's more like my insistence on removing nose weight and replacing it with mo' battery- this plane has a BIG weight, only 1/4" back from the tip- you have to REALLY "battery up" to counter it, and I didn't put in the bigger battery yet (start small, go bigger) Also, they have the CG wrong- the tail drags when it's supposed to be right. I didn't fly the battery out- we use a timer

  • in my opinion the mosquito was the 1st stealth plane as it was made from wood which meant it had a very small radar signature for the time and was hard to detect, also being as fast as it was it could out fly most enemy craft and was extremely effective in photo reconnaissance. an excellent airframe. better luck on the landings next time eh. lol.
