  • this rubbish

  • All right, whoever divided by zero, please come take a look at this. See that? That's what YOU just made happen.

  • Eighth, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh crossover. You know you all want it.

  • @ProtoKun7: Hellz, Yeah!

  • its tennAnt

    note:A

  • I can tell you're a David Tennant fan. This video was about 80% Tennant and 20% Paul McGann.

  • I wish the 8th (McGann) and the 11th (Smith) could meet next season.

  • my version of the time war would include 10,9 and 8.... when 10 and 9 crash land opening the time lock, they meet 8 who suddenly gets attacked by a dalek and regenerates = two 9s and a 10 to reslove the war

  • this sucks!

  • If it happened it would be good, but not as good as... SMITH VS TROUGHTON!!!

  • @TheEocene Recorders are cool.

  • @fjccommish I would like a fez like that!

  • Редкостное УГ.

  • Terrible editing, especially regarding Doctor 10s outfit and it made little or no sense.

  • I actually liked the makeshift console, because it DOES fit his personality. XD I DID love the 'desktop theme' from the RTD-Era, but I also think it's time for a new one. They have no choice since they just HAD to go and trash the set XD But if they keep one thing, it should be the makeshift console.

  • God, I hope the next Doctor changes the TARDIS console. I'm so sick of air pumps, magic eight balls and dinner bells.

I'd like to see a combination of the 7th and 8th Doctor's console.

I loved all the buttons and video screens (which started with the 5th Doctor) and I love the center going up into the ceiling (which started with the 8th Doctor).

More Sci-Fi and less camp, please.

  • I dont think its camp. Computer monitors and screens are clean and straight. The current console is stylistic. Very new and fresh for the updated doctor.

  • @samjarris

I agree the computer monitors look nice and the console is very stylistic but the first time I saw the 9th Doctor pumping that hand pump I almost threw up.

  • @TomatoeAssassin They will be changing the console, but I still think the current console is perfect for the Doctor. The way it's not slick and modern, but has parts missing and replaced with odds and ends that the Doctor's collected over the years. It's a perfect representation of the Doctor's character and isn't "camp" at all!

  • @TomatoeAssassin Asside from the seats, I never really noticed his make-shift controls for some reason until they were pointed out. I kinda like it, but there will be a new console room this year. Apparently it's the one Ecclestone and Tennant would have had if BBC had been able to afford it at the time.

  • You are right, the console room needs to change; and it does with the 11th Dr. I never like the 9-10th dr console -too 'run down' and it gave the appearance of being a jury rigged nightmare, which is probably appropriate given it's supposed to be the last TARDIS in existence -no spare parts etc.

  • And even before that. When the 4th Doctor was visiting the Gallifrey, one Time Lord said that the Doctor's TARDIS was a model only seen on museums.

  • Pile of shit!!!

  • @mellowNdark It wasn't that bad. My gosh.

  • whoa awsome you did those cuts really well, great job and a good idea.

btw Farewell David Tennant i will miss you

  • yeah eh's right farewell and good idead trying to put the two doctors together

  • i got it! you've seen the waters of mars and are playing on the doctors past, he is the timelord victorious! with a conscious! but.........Alonsy!

  • That makes a lot of sense! Unfortunately I made this about 2 years before that came along.

That was in essence the idea though so I'm glad the Waters of Mars added to it!

  • that was not the 10th dr meets the 8th thats just clips from the 8th and 10th dr who thats all. but the 5th and 10th dr did meet in the mini episode called the time crash.

  • the fox network owns dr who? are you sure? that doesnt sound right to be honest.. BBC yes but fox?

  • they own the 8th doctors movie.

  • No they don't. They funded it.

  • they funded a majority of it. Almost 4 times that of BBC. If it was in court who owns the 8th doctor it would be Fox.

  • @1337cg Fox funded the movie, not the idea, The BBC owns doctor who name and likeness.

The movie was going to be a pilot for the 8th doctor but due to low ratings fox decided they didn't want to buy the series or the francise off the BBC

  • Erm.. Fox Owns BBC.

  • @1337cg The British Broadcasting Corporation, usually referred to by its abbreviation as the "BBC",[1] is the longest established and largest broadcaster in the world.[2] The BBC is a publicly owned corporation that operates under a Royal Charter issued by the British Crown and its operations are overseen by twelve Governors who are appointed by the Crown on the advice of the Government.

  • @1337cg If fox or any other network owned the BBC trust me those like me, who pay the license would know about it. It would have been major news, really don't know where you get your sources from.

  • British Crown is owned by ABC. ABC is owned by Fox and Fox is owned by Fidel Castro...those are the facts.

  • @1337cg You do realise what the british crown is, don'tcha? If your going to chat bullshit please at least make it believable bullshit, and not by trying to convince an englishman that the british crown is a corperation

  • Are you saying that the more then one person does not rule the British Crown?

  • @1337cg again please think what the british crown is

  • its what the British wear on their teeth...so ganster.

  • lol idiot BBC is the British broadcasting Corporation and not at all owned by fox

  • @1337cg The argument would be over the character of The Doctor, it wouldn't matter if it was 8th, 2nd, 10th, whichever. Fox funded the movie because they saw potential in a new series, but Doctor Who is licenced and trademarked by the BBC, therefore the BBC owns the Doctor.

  • I actually heard rumors that they might do flashbacks of the Time War and show McGann as the doctor and maybe have the 8th to 9th regen scene.

  • Oh thats interesting. Where did you hear that??

  • Sounds cool, but how reliable is your source?

  • @Persnicketese No, the Time War is over with - there's a new production team, new head writer... Moffatt's got his own ideas.

Still, McGann should still be part of the show. I hate how he's been treated by fandom because he was only on screen in one story.

I want a seperate series with McGann in it, running alongside the 11th Doctor one.

  • @hcvang Oooh, what about a 13 part series running alongside Series 6 - on Sundays!

  • @Persnicketese - figment of your imagination or have you read some dreamers theories in a Doctor Who discussion board somewhere on the internet?

  • @Persnicketese showing the time wars and mcgann's dr again is long overdue

  • @Persnicketese Would that work, though? With McGann being 14-15 years older now?

  • @Persnicketese

Showing the Time War? On Steven Moffat's watch? Where the hell did you hear that?

  • very well done!!

  • BRILLIANT!

  • This really does need a different title somehow, since "The Two Doctors" is already taken.

  • That ending was SAAAAAADDDD ;-;

  • thats awesome :D I haven't seen the five doctors thing, but I think the 8th doctor should have been more than just comics!

  • He kinda was. He had a whole movie.

  • I know, but he didn't have any tv, if you don't include the movie. But I don't suppose it really matters. I haven't seen much of the old ones anyway.

  • That's like saying none of the other Doctors "had T.V." if you don't include their episodes. The movie was made, it is canonical, therefore it counts.

Not only that, but McGann has done what amounts to seven or eight seasons in the audio adventures from Big Finish, though I'm guessing you haven't heard them either and therefore don't count them.

  • Great stuff

  • I think I get it: Ten *cough* accidentally witnesses the end of the Time War and, therefore, what destroyed Gallifrey and forced a regeneration. Hence the tears . . ..

  • i didnt get it still well done on the splicing!

  • good video

  • " It is property of the BBC and Fox network"

Fox network has NOTHING to do with Doctor Who. BBC only.

  • The Fox network where involved with the TV movie of Doctor Who which is where alot of the footage came from. BBC is the main one as they made it but Fox has enough to do with the footage used here to be worth a mention.

  • Although I suppose you're correct, Fox just worked on filming it/making a script.

At the end of the day, all the copyrights and licensing is all of the BBC, By the way. nice video.

  • don't try and save me. You got smacked down with fact.

  • What?

If your could explain that comment it would be great.

  • Seconded.

  • Where did you get the impression he thought he was the only one?

  • not bad 4/5

  • This is brilliant =)

  • I did'nt actually see them meet lol

  • That was ok for a mini Timewar but it been done by loads, even me on my phone!

  • Pretty cool Time War vid.

  • why did this video only get three and a half stars? I think it's brilliant. What's the music from and called?

  • I think this is the song from The Christmas Invasion. Not sure what the name of the song is, but it does come from that episode

  • On the Soundtrack it's the track for UNIT. Not sure when it was first played.

  • Very well action packed video, I heard somewhere in some tabloid that Paul is suppose to appear in one of the specials, not sure if it's true or not. But something about a flash back with him in it. Even if it isn't true,a flash back seems a bit disappoining. I really truely feel bad that Paul never got a full series save for audio dramas.

The movie is pretty bad. Yes, I have a copy of it, but Paul was real gem in the whole thing. I mainly watch the move because of him.

  • I'm going to have to disagree on the basis that there is a second good thing about the movie - the musical score was amazing. Other than Paul and the music, yes, it was pretty bad. Not awful, but bad.

  • Yea the Doctor Who theme for the movie is pretty awesome. But aside from the movie that's about it, except for fan girl obsession over Paul. ;)

  • What about Sylvester McCoy?

  • There's more good than outright "bad" in the movie.

Eric Roberts's Master is a scenery-chewing delight (far better than John Simm's weedy take), Grace and Chang Lee are able and likeable companions, the scene with the cycle cop riding into and out of the TARDIS is always good for a laugh, and the Doctor's reaction to his recovery of memory is nothing short of heartwarming.

Take it as a "Doctor Who" story (which it is) and some of the others really pale in comparison. "Time Flight," anyone?

  • The movie itself was indeed entertaining on its own terms, but I would classify it as bad in a much different way than something like Time Flight. Time Flight was a terrible entry to a consistent chronicle. Having the McGann movie in the Who Universe is almost like trying to wedge the 'Doctor Who and the Daleks' movie as cannon.

His mental breakdown right after regenerating is an amazing scene (especially the sound), and the acting was great, especially Roberts. And that cycle bit was great.

  • I disagree with your "wedging" theory, especially since the movie IS officially canon; it even has its own canon title: "The Enemy Within."

(Incidentally, there are those who might dispute you on that "consistent chronicle" line.)

Yes, there's a gap between "Survival" and the movie, but then again, there's a gap between the movie and "Rose," and a rather more significant one to boot.

  • Couldn't agree more

  • Thanks!

  • Actually, we can fit the Peter Cushing movies into series continuity now; my theory goes something (well, exactly) like this:

The Doctor is unknown in the universe known as "Pete's World." The human Dr. Who, a native of Pete's World, quit adventuring when he got old and mothballed his "Tardis," though his grown-up granddaughter Susie keeps the key if emergencies arise.

She almost used it when the Cybermen attacked, but the threat was gone before she could. But Sue Who still waits...

  • wait a sec.... trying to put this together... I thought Pete's World didn't have a Doctor, besides the human one, (correct me if I'm wrong), so how could Susie be there?

  • Bear in mind this is all speculation on my part!

My notion is that there's indeed no Gallifreyan Doctor in Pete's World (which begs the question "Is there a Gallifrey in that universe?" but I digress), but the Dr. Who of the movies, played by Peter Cushing, was an Earthling.

If, as my hypothesis has it, he was born on Pete's World, then so naturally would his granddaughter Susan-- played by Roberta Tovey rather than Carole Ann Ford-- have been.

This isn't canon, it's is just me having fun!

  • Could Bernard Cribbin's character from "Pete's World" have crossed dimensions to the regular Whoniverse and had Donna Noble as a granddaughter?

  • An interesting theory! Changed his name and all. I don't know if that allows enough time for him to have raised Donna's mum; how old is she?

Or possibly PC Tom Campbell is an example of a little-used sci-fi idea of a person (in this case Wilf) having a genetic double in a parallel world who matches him gene for gene but is otherwise a different person entirely.

Or maybe it's just one of those "mindless coincidences" of the sort that Douglas Adams fell back on when he'd run out of explanations.

  • He sort of did. Big finish!

  • How's that? Which production?

  • nice video

  • good storyline.

  • i find it curious that these vids always portray the eight doctor regenerating at the end of the time war. there is no evidence to suggest his regen was brought on by the time war. theres no evidence to suggest that it wasnt the ninth who fought in the time war. for all we know the eighth doc got killed on the first day of the war and didnt have time to look at his new face until he got to earth and went in roses apartment.

just a constant curiosity of mine, not tryin to be an elitist nerd.

  • That is true, and it would make things alot easier if ever they made a Time War episode or something. I always pictured it happening as a result of the Time War but not at the end nessesarily. If you have a look at some of my Time war vid's then I think it shows it quite nicely.

Thats a good point though, no one else has ever mentioned that in a comment. Well done!!

  • yeah that was always sort of my view of it too. but i was thinking last night of the Ninth doc epi. (cant remember the name) where the guy has a website about the Doctor and is very suspicious of him. he shows rose those pics of the doc with the ninth's face where it appears he has done some apparent post-war traveling prior to meeting rose. it may seem a bit of a stretch, but it may have actually taken him that long to get around to looking at a mirror.

  • number nine didnt really seem all that interested in his appearence and chris himself stated that he felt the doctor's apperance was a non-factor in as much as costume hair ect. who knows. mabey the death of number eight had nothing to do with the war? by the way this is JimiShyne i didnt realize my kid sister had been on my computer. GRRRRR now ive got a girly name on ma post lol

  • That was Eccleston's first episode, entitled "Rose."

    Kicking yourself now? j/k

Besides, who's to say the pics in question weren't taken during the Doctor's time with Rose and she somehow was elsewhere when they were taken?

  • I would bekicking myself if i were leaving replies to year-old comments.

  • *shrugs* I don't see why. It happens all the time.

  • sure. when a person finds themselvs whitout any sort of a life to speak of.

  • true Because Eight Has Audio Plays Still Going In His Timeline Set After The Movie But Before The Wsr So We May Find Out In An Audio Play As To How The Time War Ended

  • True, but for if they did do that, it would exclude all those who don't have the benefit of the audio play's, so i dunbt they would.

Perhaps they'll cover it in one of these specials we've been promised next year, in aposed to series. Hmm, the mind boggles..

  • its cool

  • That is cool.

  • great piece of melched footage. Was all the footage used from the movie and new series 1-4?

  • Yh twas. In my others i've used some bits from Star Trek and Star wars but thats only cos i was struggling for space war footage.

  • bravo my freind bravo top vid

  • regeneration is good but why all the time war pointless stuff just have the REGENREATION!

  • it gives more backdrop for the series

  • fair enough

  • The 8th Doctor is my fave...would love it if he got a chance to do some TV episodes

  • I thought it was great! I love McGann!

  • What's wrong with liking Paul McGann? If you listen to any of his BIG Finish audio adventures or watch the movie again you'll see just how good he really is! I hope the rumours about him being in one of the 2009 specials is true!

  • I hope the rumors are true also.

    McGann is great

  • no its 4,6 & 10

  • As long as we're telling who our faves are, My top pick is Pertwee, followed closely by Hartnell.

  • Well done but it could have had a happier ending.

  • That was AWESOME!!!!

  • well done. top nosh.

  • I think you meen notch matey ;-)

  • Maybe he was hungry when he left his comment.

  • cool music were did u get it. cool vid2

  • its on the dr who series 1 and 2 sound track(its called the dr who offciall soundtrack) and its called UNIT

  • They aughta get Tom Baker on there, that'd be cool.

  • I heard a rumor (not saying this is true) that they are going to try to get Mr McGann to make an appearance in the new series

  • That would be pretty imence! If you get a comformation on that, please post a comment here!

  • They oughtta try to get Eccleston back, too! His Doctor needs more development!

  • Yeah I agree! Eccleston was a great Doctor but we didn't have long enough with him. We do need more!

  • Babelcolour has already made an awesome vid of tennant meeting baker

  • yea thats amazin

  • Which Baker?

  • tom baker, sorry should've said that

  • No worries!

  • Except they can't call it the Two Doctors, that was a story from the 80's involving Troughton and CBaker. Other than that, this is something I'd really like to see.

  • They could call it "The Doctor's Duet" or something...

  • is it possible to tell me what the program is??

i really want to make doctor who vids

  • hmm id guess doctor who....

  • Editing program.

  • Try Windows Movie Maker, if you haven't already...

  • got to ask marcus, where do you get all the clips from?

  • I have a program that nicks them from youtube! But ssshhh!! LOL

  • lol, fair enough!!!

    you watching in 5 minutes?!

  • HELL YH!!! I'm off now infact! Cya on the other side!!

  • what a wonderful idea!

  • Thankyou!

  • cool

  • If you get the time, can you make one where Four and Ten meet?

  • Awesome, you spelt Tennant wrong in the vid.

  • Good idea, i might do that, T'would be fun!!

  • u should have put a screamer at the end!

    very good video anyway

  • Screamer? Whats a one of them then? Thanks

  • just sommat to make people jump

  • Oh this was awesome! well coordinated.

  • Thanks!!!!
