For one, the people who are insured, many of them get screwed over by their insurance companies anyway. Second, by and large, people who have insurance STILL have to pay out of pocket expenses for medical care, I think that's a common knowledge and experience in our society. Three, countries that have Socialized medicine have a longer life expectancy and people are more satisfied with their healthcare. They live just as long if not longer than we do.
