the call was wrong too. OU, however did not recover it like it was said.

Granted the ball DID NOT travel 10 yards. If it did, however Oregon

recovered it. But, like I said, the ball didn't travel 10 yards. Did you know that

the replay official in the booth was a linesjudge in the 1982 Cal-Stanford game?

This is not the typical "what the hell the refs were thinking" this is a legit example of costing a team the game. And it DID have implications for OU who could have been considered for the national championship that year if they hadn't been screwed. Who cares where it was touched or who touched it, #23 just nonchalantly picks the ball up about 2 yards away from the pile and the refs were too dumb to look at it then in the video replays they never went far enough to see that #23 had the ball. Probably some of the worst officiating I've ever seen. Close to the level of officiating of the Alamo Bowl last year.
