@lildawwg I shake my head to at how people used "Negro" back then...but researching it, just five years before, MLK used the word 15 times in "I Have a Dream." That, and most white people used the term at the time with many - perhaps not a majority, but many - having not an ounce of racism in them, but pounds of ignorance.
