  • OMG WITH SUCH AN CROSSWIND SUCH AN WONDERFULL LANDING I LOVE YOU CATHAY PACIFIC i want to know how their pilots were trained from them :D

  • @0:27

Kid: Mum look, i can see the runway!!! so cool!!!

Mum: *sweating & lips are sealed*

  • @nav3103 haha...thats exactly what i said landing into London Heathrow with Cathay pacific on an A340 couple of years ago

  • Evrey airbus landing is smooth notice

  • The plane was flying side-on for 5 to 6 seconds. I'm not a pilot or aviation expert, so I'm curious as to why the pilots or auto-pilot take that long before correcting the planes trajectory?

  • @TheDeepBlueWater the technical term is called "crabbing". The aircraft flys in a crab position to compensate for the crosswind. So the wind is hitting the aircraft sideways, and the pilot turns the aircraft toward the wind direction so that the aircraft flys towards its target, the centre of the runway. Just before the aircraft lands on the runway the pilot straightens out the aircraft using rudder control.

This was a good crosswind landing here in this video.

  • Good pilot.

  • amaazing landing !!

  • a good landing for the scarebus

  • im taking the bus

  • veery soft landing... This must have been a glider pilot:)

  • It's also depend on the angle of the crosswind relative to the landing runway. There is a limitation on crosswind angle and knots factor. Anyway he/she greased the flare and nice touchdown.

  • there's 5kt corsswind...

  • @haloaste Yes. On the ground at the threshold. Dipshit

  • how fast were the winds

  • I think the 330 is drunken ! :) ggg

  • Good pilots. Great video!

  • Awesome...the best for me :)
