I have conducted this work many times and always have the arguement regarding "live" or "die." I believe the Wilhousky arrangement (this one) specifies: "As He died to make men holy, Let us die to make men free." I always insisted on the text change to "live" (as in this performance). A fundamental philosophical difference. Any thoughts on this?
