the navigation and movement look awesome. now they need to take a que from uncharted (as uncharted probably did from this), and make it possible to climb higher things, you know grab ledges, not as uncharted ofcourse, but it looked like some things he could just jump and grab to climb over, instead he goes to cover. climbing simple things would be cool. i also expect to see a trailer of this, next E3, it won't be on ps4

I think Sony should worry less about it's online and worry more about split screen seriously because online is way better on PC than 360 or ps3. The whole reason with consoles is playing it on the big screen with your friends sat next to ya, well that's at least what I think :)

according to a recent interview published on September 30th 2009 with a guy working at London Studios this game and Getaway 3 are still in production but have been put on hold until the release of EYE Pet.

In other words we should be hearing from these 2 great games once EyePet is released.

Think about it, everything this game had going for it 3 years ago, has already been done by everyone. The cover system's nice, but Gears of War and Rainbow 6 created the best cover system around. The animation's fluid, but these days, even GTA games have near-perfect animations. The destruction seemed cool, but look at a game like Red Faction, guerilla, whever everything is destroyed in real time using physics.

This game would fail if it were released now.

Dude, the "lighting" looks nice, but look at their faces and bodies. They look absolutley fake, like somthing out of perfect dark zero. It looked good back then, it doesn't now. Seriously, if you havn't looked at the old demos, look again. I remember just about going speachless when I saw it for the first time, but now, it's just a below averge rendering.

Besides, look at Uncharted. It's basically everything this was supposed to be, and it succeeded wildly.

This video has nothing to do with showing off how accurate the image is rendered. It's the animation that's important.

You should check out the GDC "car demo" or the "gas station explosion" if you want to know how this game might have looked like.

I'm telling you, the game would have been phnominal if it were released back then, but now, it would flop.

Too many graphics and physics engines out do it. I mean, take the Euphoria, the Red Faction engine and apply it to structures and any decent graphical interface, and you've got a great game that beats this.

I think uncharted did a very good job of making this look bad. Check it out.

it was cancelled because of the bad multiplayer mode. Sony wanted to get closer to the "onlineworld" but 8 Days is only SP with a very lousy multiplayer, so they had no support by Sony, no money through that, no platform...THE END
