  • give hearns credit for really moving up and not demanding a catchweight like manny pacua

  • Most fighters that move up 4 weight classes in their careers looks small in the highest class. Hearns still looked like a giant at cruiserweight.

  • It seemed a little premature to call the fight that early. Ward seemed wobbly but not out of it...but im no referee.

  • Not a vintage opponent but Hearns still had class, even as an old fighter.

  • what a glass chin on this...umm, what's his name again...?

  • hearns? an incredible uppercut, very great jab, amazing 'diretto': better to avoid him!

  • Aweome power hitter. His secret is his footwork. Notice how he is always balanced to deliver a killer punch... amazing. Yet he is never 'frozen' or flat footed... If there is any fighter who had better timing and footwork than Hearns, I dunno who he is, unless sugar Ray Robinson... another skinny guy with knockout power galore

Footwork, an underrated and unheralded factor in boxing

  • @sparwood8 Well not to mention his stance. he has a big lead with his left leg. That give him great great speed with the left, and big power in his right.

  • @subfighter316 Thumbs up

  • I remember this PPV, I didnt even know Tommy was on the card then this came on as the first fight, I lost my mind...

  • hearns had old legs right from the first round

  • hearns

  • il cobra colpisce ancora
