Hey Eyal,

in my opinion this nice song doesn't need lyrics. It has a strong melody, and the simple melody+piano is just perfect.

I only would arrange a bit more. Indeed i was remembered to Pat Metheny, which could be a nice idea to add a synth octave higher to the melody. Don't use drums on this track :) Some nice orchestral sounds would make this to a piece of art, some background vocals from Tammy in the refrain would be nice. Looking really forward to the result! Thanks for your open mind!

I don't know why, but it reminds me "Rain Song" from Led Zeppelin. The lyrics could be about a poor people and his son during a very long trip. The son asks his father about the mean of life or obvious question with subtle meaning, or any discussion like "Le Petit Prince" from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

@prexlebre Ui ein Kommentar, cool. auch wenn's eher ein kritischer ist... Klischeehaft find ich meine Lyrics gar nicht mal so, eher banal. Und das war Absicht, weil die Musik so kunstvoll und ernsthaft ist, und ich finde den Kontrast dazu passend. In Strophe 2 und danach würde ich den Text sicher noch etwas ins Absurde abdrehen lassen, dann würde er auf dich sicher auch weniger klischeehaft wirken. Danke für die Kritik ! PS probiers doch mal zu singen ;-)

Well Eyal... I think you are getting your answer, looking at many of the previous comments. Ultimately, this is YOUR song and as such you should do whatever you feel is right, but to me, this is such a beautiful song as it is. Your music and the contribution that Tammy has made.... so perfect. A thing of really special beauty.

I agree with @aronhidman, although I wouldn't double the vocals. Instead, maybe a middle section with a jazz variant on the melody with flute or sax, bass and perc.
