Uh... they know. Seriously. It's a pairing portmanteau, blending the names of the characters to create a pairing name. In this case it's also a play on the pronunciation of Calleigh's last name. DuCaine = Duquesne + Caine. Got it?

That is a pic of Calleigh from 'Body Count', the S1 finale. It was originally John Hagen watching Cal sleep, but my DuCaine shipper friend, CSIsManic changed it so it's Horatio instead! :) One of my fave pics!! :)

That is a cap from the S1 finale, 'Body Count', but it was manipulated by CSIsManiac to have Horatio watching her instead of John Hagen.
I requested this almost a year ago, and this was a really special pic from a really good DuCainer friend. :) Thank you again, Casper!
