  • Brady Morningstar is from Lawrence, Kansas, hometown of KU, and he started, and was second most in minutes this last year. And of the bench players, Tyrel Reed, Travis Releford, Connor Teahen, Jordan Juenemann, Brennan Bechard, and Matt Kleinmann are all from Kansas. There is some pretty good ball played in the state.

    North Carolina has 3, none of them projected starters. Kentucky has 2, and only Miller is a possible starter.

    Duke did not have one player from North Carolina last year.
