ok I love love love Rick Springfield, however you know what sucks, he is Australian, sorry folks, but when did he actually tour Aus last. I remember when I was in high school and he was supposed to be touring, but alas he didn't. I did see him at the Countdown concert. Please, please do a tour of Australia, and include Perth.

I really enjoy alot of what Rick does..especially the more serious CDs (SDAA for example). I think he is so very human...and I think thats what intrigues us all (all his fans)..we see his success and cheer him for it..and his screwups are just like you and me. (Like trying to be content..like, who is really happy, really???) Bottom line: Rick Rules.

I don't know the man. Who does? No one really knows another person, even when you've spent years with them. I have met him in Nashville and he was extremely polite and caring. He puts on a fantastic show and truly enjoys making music. I love listening to his music and yes, as rude as it sounds, I don't care if he's the same age as my dad, HE IS GORGEOUS!!!

Thanks for sharing Rick's beautiful pictures i've always liked Rick and his hit song Jessie's Girl and now i'm liking his Victoria's Secret a lot too, saw him at Thunder Valley in Sacramento back in Aug and he and his band were amazing! now have his Late Late night book and enjoy reading it tremendously.. more blessings to you Rick and keep on rocking!

I love his book! Some people don't understand depression, real depression, and thus some comments, which I understand. But to overcome apparent suicide and accomplish so much, after years of rejection, it is simply amazing. His messing around, some look at it as just getting laid, but if you grew up hating how you looked, and them all these girls start wanting to jump your bones, it becomes something you get accustomed to, and believe it or not, is not something you just let go of.

I have to say, I never was a big fan of Rick Springfield's music but wanted to read his memoir that he has been pushing so hard on television appearances as of late. I bought it, I read it, and am now less of a fan than before. He was such a pig. He uses his "darkness" as an excuse for being a pig most of his young life and then some. I don't know how he made it as far as he did.He didn't respect his own body. He was filth and that piece of crap he saw in the mirror.

@lilolme39 Why don't you read his book and then maybe you won't think so much of him. He's a pig. Every time things didn't go his way and it made him depressed "darkness" is what he calls it, he uses it as an excuse for his repulsive behavior and "being an artist" Blah Blah Blah. After reading his book he now disgust me immensely. He makes my skin crawl.
