tip: take a razor blade and slightly scrape off a little "skin" at the bottom before dipping in cloning solution, the scraped area will give more surface area for root to come out of

@weedyak debatable, but yes.....ive seen plants under 100% hps, 100% t8's (t5s are much better for growing though) and obviously mh works, but with hps you have to watch the internodal length or get either a digilux or eye hortilux hps bulb. they have 20% more blue spectrum (veg light) than traditional hps lamps

The perfect temoerature for cannabis to grow is like 24° C / 75 degree.

But in my basement its not that warm. Do the 400 watt lights give enough heat or do I have to install sth like a heating ???

No way a 400 watt rig will provide sufficient heat for your plants. You will need a seperate heater, or FORGET it...

Do NOT use a convector...for best results, use a Calor Gas type of heater...this will even give your plants extra Co2, but make you sure you have adequate ventilation (exhaust ou-take) - sucking all stale air out of your growroom...

You stress a female plant until it becomes a hermaphrodite(switches sexs) I am not sure how to stress it without killing it, google it. Once it has grown male flowers you take its pollen and use it on another female plant and voila feminized seeds.

Actually once the plant becomes herma, IT produces male pollination spores and female flowers so it pollinates itself. You can stress the plant by taking it out of the 12/12 and put it into a full 24. The plant thinks its dying so it sprays the pollen and the female flowers take in the pollen and it self produces female seeds. btw, this guy is probably burning his plants with the full 100% adv nutrients. You're really only suppose to use 30%-50%.

usually due tue hot spots in the grow room.. if you use foil as a reflectant then you will most likely get hot spots depending on what light you use... if you use the inside of present wrapping paper (white part) you can eliminate this problem!

You shouldnt put the clone directly in the cloning solution because if you do that then the solution could possibly be contaminated by the other plants so technically cleaning the scissors would have no purpose. Just helping out.

Lemme clear some things up for you, its legal to store seeds in america for future legalization of marijuana. Because it can also be used in bird feed. BUT heres the thing although the government will let you have these, they contradict everything by also making it so that you cant have seeds that will actually grow. In my research this is why I found. They have to sterilize the seeds before they can be given to you. But you can get em in shadier ways... stick to clones kids!

You could have left the 2 smaller branches on the plant & cut the clone after them (4:45). They can grow into Bud sites...Also Splice the ends of your clones so they have 2 "legs" ~ roots will flourish more.

Good tip for cloning properly... get a razor and make a few slices at the bottom of the stem, cutting upwards and trying not to slice into the stem all the way then put it in the cloning solution. This will help the clones develop roots alot quicker.
