Sabian is the place to go for chinas and splashes, MAYBE if you want to add an 18" crash to your kit. Paiste is the place to go if you want to buy a ride cymbal.

@RazrHack Hell noo! Paiste chinas are a dreaaam, a lot better then Sabian's ones imo. But I definitely prefer Sabian crashes, rides, and splashes over Pasite / Zildjian ;)

No way! This ride is a great ride! lots of r&b, soul and funk drummer are using this. i guess they're just not using it in the right song :D.

@Musefan6732 I agree with you on that one. This guy was using way too much bell in his riding. He should try using the shoulder of the stick and hit the bow of the ride cymbal. Kinda mix it all in one to give people a better outlook on how the ride sound so in that way customers would know what kind of ride they want to buy. Out of all the HHX Rides, I like the Groove Ride.

although i think they're doing it on this one inparticular for the same reason theyre not crashing it. In order to best promote the cymbal. Its an advert to make money at the end of the day and since the bell sounds good they'll play it, and the crash doesnt sound good so they wont play it. Although i think they should play the whole cymbal personally.

I do agree I do own the ride and the bow and bell are amazing, is a heavy ride definition wise is great but the crash-ability is minimum (super controlled)

@hybridtavo exactly, i mean if you were selling a supercar you'd steer clear (pardon the pun) of the fact it has no boot etc etc but drive home (lol) the good performance etc.
