  • Thank you so much for this. It is absolute great to be able to see Water Laird and Lorraine dance. He wrote the book. However, it is also clear that technique has improved 10 times since that era, thanks to Donnie and also others. While current dancers can dance much better, we must remember the long road taken when successive champions built up on earlier teaching. All the top dancers have learnt from Walter or his students, or students of his students. We are so lucky for their work.

  • What is the name of the song? I have heard it lately))))

  • Thank you so much for uploading this!!! Its priceless!!!!

  • Thank you for the great uploads of Walter and Lorraine. As a young(ish) dancer it's great to see Walter dance after following his technique books for many years! Totally agree with donovansung's comment. The dancing looks so fresh for it being recorded in 1963! Keep it coming with the fantastic old school clips bmwsitgez!

  • Amazing how contemporary their dancing looks, considering the fact that this was nearly 50 years ago! Samba music was also a lot faster back then compared to today's music.
