  • :-0 no problem

  • Just out of curiosity, is a single 650 engine like yours any lighter than say a similar displacement 2 cylinder or 4 cylinder?

A single cylinder seems simpler to work on for sure.

  • @JasonWW2000 Hey man, it is a much easier engine to work on than a multi-cylinder one, I guess so that you can fix some things easily if you're out in the wilds somewhere.

I would think it is lighter, with less parts needed (ie. 1 spark plug, 1 carburettor) I'll have a look around the web and see what weight a 4 cylinder 650 is.

    Cheers, Dave.

  • What happened to your GPZ ? are you going to rebuild it? Would make an awesome youtube episode series.

Good vid keep up the good work

  • @bev1806 Hey man, I'm afraid the GPz is going to be sold, I don't have the space to rebuild the engine at the moment it has other issues which would need to be sorted before I could use it again too.

I really did like that bike but I think that the next owner will have a bit more motivation than me.

    Cheers, Dave.

  • @gpzDave I am intrested in buying a fixer upper bike. How much would you be looking for? Iam only in the North so not that far away from scotland

  • @bev1806 I've sent you a PM. :)

  • nice!

  • that was pretty good for 6 weeks standing.

  • @chox2001 I was surprised the battery was still so strong.

  • @gpzDave the battery did suprise me to turn it over so long.
