  • The goofiness of the video editing in this video is distracting.

  • @mackietv

hi, i have 3 synth modules and a pc i want to hook up to a mixer, using stereo channels where possible. would the 802 be suitable?

  • @TootAzraqIndustries Sure. Channels 3/4 5/6 and 7/8 are stereo already. Synths could go there with 1/4 connections. The PC could go a couple of different places, depending on the connections you have. If you have 1/4 outs, you could use channels 3/4. If it's just a RCA out, you can use the Tape in also. So, yes, ample room.

  • what is the 402 like for studio recording?

  • pull my finger Greg

  • And now with with INSERTS for the 402-VLZ3! Search for "INSERTS FX 402-VLZ3"

Stay tuned for portable battery operation... 8-)

  • having owned the 802 for a while now, hooked up to an M-Audio 192 interface it's a very very reliable mixer, for sound quality I'd give it 9 out of 10. However, I'm now thinking of getting a mixer from the onyx-i range, as I can clearly see the extra benefits with owning the 802 for a year or two, it'd be nice to be use firewire as well as analog at the same time

  • Can I use my Alesis NanoVerb 18-Bit Digital Effects Processor with Mackie 402-VLZ3??

  • can you plug a dynamic mic or guitar into channel 3/4?

  • hello, is it possible to clip the mixer without destructive damage to the mixer, in order to achieve analog distortion and warmth to a sterile digital sound coming from my computer?

    Thanks =]

  • How does the 402 Get power if there is no wall plug or battery, Will it work well with my RODE NT1-A Microphone well.

  • @GDTelevision the 402-VLZ3 most certainly plugs into the wall. I wish we had a mixer that could power without that pesky cord! There is onboard phantom power, so you can easily hook up your nice NT1

  • hi , i need only one chanel, is the mackie 402 have an amplifier inside. can i connect it to PA speakers????

i want to use it with my vci 300 for djing.

    thanks

  • @muaythaibest1 The Mackie 402-VLZ3 is NOT powered. You would need an amplifier to connect to passive speakers. If you want to see a POWERED mixer, check out the PPM608. Or you could look into a pair of POWERED speakers like the Mackie TH-15As....the 402-VLZ3 could hook straight into speakers like that

  • @mackietv nah man the SRM450 is much better than the thumps

  • @persianfilmgeek Sorry, no battery option for the 402

  • Can the 802-VLZ3 input for an MPC, a Beat Production Station and a Keyboard Synthesiser. And to output into speakers and a laptop ?

If not, or otherwise, can someone recommend another mixer please?

  • @EAAZYbwoi

Yes, it has enough input for this to be done.

  • I use to use a Mackie DFX 6 which was great but the VLZ range is a different class, suprising as its quarter the size of the DFX 6 and much better audio quality, infact crystal clear , the XDR mic pre's are quality, I am serious guys, I am very pleased with the purchase of the 802.

    Dave

  • are the pre amps of the VLZ3's better than the pre-amps on the MBox2? If so, I would like to go though one of those before I go into the Mbox2.

  • Depends entirely on how many channels you want to monitor, but I'd recommend the 802-VLZ3. More channels, 3 XLR inputs, and ability to submix at a later date, if you so require.

  • These are the best sales/infomercials around.. so funny..

you've convinced me to get a 402VLZ3 and a pair of MR5s.. guess its a job well done for you guys. :cP

  • do you have a demo of the tapco channel compact mixer?
