@TootAzraqIndustries Sure. Channels 3/4 5/6 and 7/8 are stereo already. Synths could go there with 1/4 connections. The PC could go a couple of different places, depending on the connections you have. If you have 1/4 outs, you could use channels 3/4. If it's just a RCA out, you can use the Tape in also. So, yes, ample room.
having owned the 802 for a while now, hooked up to an M-Audio 192 interface it's a very very reliable mixer, for sound quality I'd give it 9 out of 10. However, I'm now thinking of getting a mixer from the onyx-i range, as I can clearly see the extra benefits with owning the 802 for a year or two, it'd be nice to be use firewire as well as analog at the same time
hello, is it possible to clip the mixer without destructive damage to the mixer, in order to achieve analog distortion and warmth to a sterile digital sound coming from my computer?
@GDTelevision the 402-VLZ3 most certainly plugs into the wall. I wish we had a mixer that could power without that pesky cord! There is onboard phantom power, so you can easily hook up your nice NT1
@muaythaibest1 The Mackie 402-VLZ3 is NOT powered. You would need an amplifier to connect to passive speakers. If you want to see a POWERED mixer, check out the PPM608. Or you could look into a pair of POWERED speakers like the Mackie TH-15As....the 402-VLZ3 could hook straight into speakers like that
I use to use a Mackie DFX 6 which was great but the VLZ range is a different class, suprising as its quarter the size of the DFX 6 and much better audio quality, infact crystal clear , the XDR mic pre's are quality, I am serious guys, I am very pleased with the purchase of the 802.
Depends entirely on how many channels you want to monitor, but I'd recommend the 802-VLZ3. More channels, 3 XLR inputs, and ability to submix at a later date, if you so require.
The goofiness of the video editing in this video is distracting.

Can the 802-VLZ3 input for an MPC, a Beat Production Station and a Keyboard Synthesiser. And to output into speakers and a laptop ?
If not, or otherwise, can someone recommend another mixer please?

@EAAZYbwoi
Yes, it has enough input for this to be done.

are the pre amps of the VLZ3's better than the pre-amps on the MBox2? If so, I would like to go though one of those before I go into the Mbox2.
