good vid.... lol on our thanksgiving we omited the birs why you as.... well the company i work for we haul live turkey's and actually the day before turkey day i was hauling 42,525lbs of turkey breasts.... this is one of many dedicated runs my company does so i told the wife to get a hame and give this turkey a day off from lookin at, smellin and dealin with turkey's .....lol

Awesome video! Next time you're in Albuquerque try stopping down at exit 140 (If ya haven't already) The have an awesome restaurant in there called Thunder Road. My Favorite Place To Stop.

So in a way your not truckers ,you two people living life on the road and enjoying it ,in my mind trucking was about the worries about diesel,gears,getting lost,finding places to eat and crap but you make it about a life choice and a life style .

Question ...how long does it take to rise above the worries and start enjoying the adventure?

Man that cab ride price would have choked a horse.

Maybe time to store a couple of bicycles on board for trips into town.

As a truck driver you never seem to catch a break with prices.

@suburbanryder Ya we thought about that bicycle thing just never really acted on it. Winter now though. They will probably be running us across 80 which means a lot of snowy, Icy conditions. If it were my choice I would be down on 10 all winter. Ive seen where some truckers get there motorcycles up behind the cab of their truck.

Thanks for taking us along on your Turkey day! Looks like it was a great day for you! If you're ever in the southeastern Wisconsin area, Look up the Lake Geneva Balloon Co. located in Lake Geneva Wi. I see them on a weekly basis in the air as the sun rises! I think they're alot cheeper rate wise & are very profesional! Funny how they charge so much for a cab ride! The last time that I used one was in Santa Fe Springs Ca. Went about 4 mi. & charged me just over $24.

@n5xla Yes you can do that.  But most places don't have a place a big truck can park. So instead of wasting valuable off time looking for parking a lot of times we just call a cab. Usually its not that much. LOL.

you guys have to get some fold up bikes for getting around

makes life a lot handier getting from A to B on short stops

when i am working my bike goes with me in the truck its very handy for getting around
