You are a good speaker. I enjoyed watching your short production. In America, the tree we call Sycamore is actually a Plane tree. In the U.K. the word Sycamore is used for a type of Maple.
Platanus acerfolia or London Plane is what most people in the states call Sycamore. Odd, I know.
@arboristBlairGlenn In your comment you spoke of the sycamore tree as a "Plane tree", what were you referring to? I'm from the Alabama and I'm not sure what you meant by that, also I have no idea about a sycamore being used to refer to a maple. It must just be a brit thing. I have always just called it a sycamore or a bone tree, because of how hard it is, on the reservation we were taught of its uses as a tool handle because it was referred to as being "hard as bone" and bones were common tools.
