FL Studio will let you use the QWERTY keyboard to do this or your musical keyboard although neither of them are as intuitive for sampling as the pads.

Thanks, i can tell you if you are using FL Studio, goto channelsat top left next to edit,

then goto add one, then select FPC, on the top left hand corner you have a drop down arrow, click and choose presets, then select empty. now all your pads are empty. i normally save samples in the recorded file. just open the file on the browser on the left hand side and drag the sample you need to the appropriate pad. hope this helps.

hey man wow ive been looking for a video like this for a long time! =) anyhow i need to ask, how do i get my trigger finger control the FPC? Ive been trying to figure it out for months but i have no clue how to do it. like i have no idea how to set it up so that my trigger finger becomes the FCP, like assigning the pads on the tiggerfinger to the pads on the FPC =\ can you tell me how you were able to do it? thanks man =)
