i use to play at pontins wallpark,bay view,st marys bay,and the dolphin good old days i also played drums in the 80s with the teing valley stompers i know Ken very well !!!!!

I had the pleasure of hearing this band at the Butlins jazz festival of a few years back! then it was my first time of hearing them they were absulutly red hot! this track seems good to me !but it does not show them at there best? but has anyone any video of there other material I remember how patrticualy good the bass player was and some great solos from the trombone and the soprano as well .I also rembered a jazzed up version of wooden heart does any one have that?.thanks for posting

Back in 1974 I was a receptionist at the Pontins Dolphin holiday camp where the Teign Valley Stompers played every week. Ken Rennison - wind instrument player was one of that band and my pal Sue and I got on really well with him and the rest of the band.
