  • Im 31 and never heard of/played this game in the arcades.

    Shame on me.

  • I remember this show !

    a very good cartoon !

  • pew pew pew pew pew

  • Why does everything sound so much clearer than the MAME gameplay I've seen of this game? The music seems to have reverb on it, and all the characters' voices are a LOT more crisp. In the videos I've watched of it being played in MAME, you can barely make out anyone's voices in the cutscenes. And for that matter, what is a Supergun?

  • @TheBigL1 Device for playing genuine arcade boards on a regular TV. I don't know why the sound is bad in MAME, I guess it's emulated poorly?

  • YES I FINALLY FOUND YOU!!!

ISPENT MY QUARTERS PLAYING YOU ALL THE TIME LAUNDRY DAY XD

    AHH MEMORIES..

  • Okay why hasn't Konami released a greatest hits yet I would buy it in a heartbeat

  • @peteyboy009 I suspect it's because of all the licenses involved. Maybe they could do it for all of their non-license games, like Crime Fighters and Metamorphic Force, but Bucky O'Hare and TMNT are difficult.

  • @neoalec That make sense

  • @peteyboy009 on other words, once they lose the licence for a while they cant use the characters anymore. If they held on to it a little longer, they would have ported this on a console. i mean they did TMNT, but yeah. Its like asking permission to use them.

  • Aww man! I used to play this game when I was a kid all the time. :D

  • all i gotta say is if you hate on this show every kid from the 90s who liked this show will kill you

  • Great voice digitalization, great music and a great gameplay

  • Miss this game! It was awesome!

  • never played this before nor seen the cartoon. heard about it because I typed in 80s cartoon to bring back my memories and seen this when looking around and thats how I heard about this cartoon but never knew it had a game.

  • i have the famicom version. Konami is the bomb back in the days. They still are.

  • are there any known arcades to still have this?

  • Looks like a speed run on 4 player. :V

  • So it's not possible to have 1 arcade machine with all the games you want on it?

  • @KingTMD mame cabs they are in some arcades but i think they are illegal

  • this should come back to wii virtual consol or playstation3 and x box like to play this

  • I played this as a kid at the 29c video arcade the graphics sucked but it was neat

  • I don't know the show didn't die due to popularity it more or less died due to owners of the series messing up. Funny thing is they had a live action movie they started on. Unfornately sometimes you win sometimes you lose the movie would have to say the least been hilarious and worth keeping. The game was pretty cool except I think their was some kind of issue with how the game ran. I mean the monitor even in the arcades the screen got funky sometimes. The graphics should have been polygons

  • Been a Bucky fan since i was 10 and this game is one of the best arcade games i've played.

  • agreed. I didn't know anything about Bucky past the arcade. But I remember this being one of the first arcade games i had ever beaten. I think I was 7 years old. I found this game in Chuckie Cheeses and it immediately became my favorite game to play there. I spent sooo much tokens on that game. I think it got to the point where I made sure I beat the game every time I went there. I was heart broken when they got rid of the machine. :(

  • @c0wnbread

You don't remember the cartoon? it rocked when i was 10 years old.

  • I miss this game too. Their powers were awesome like the xmen arcade. Miss the 90s

  • ...wow. I dunno what to be shocked about more. The fact that there was a Bucky O'Hare arcade game or the fact that they got the actual voice cast involved.

  • and they gave the story an actual ending!

    wow

last time I heard there are new episodes onlineby none other than neal adams

  • Is there any emulator that runs this game just like the video that was captured from the original arcade? For example, fade out to black after defeating Al Negator on Stage 1.

  • Oh man, this was one of my favorite Arcade games...along with Xmen and the Simpsons and Turtles in Time games.....Konami was so friggin good at making these cabinets.....It would be so great if they could somehow re-release these as near perfect arcade ports

  • "Somehow?" Capcom and Sega rerelease their old arcade games all of the time, often about 20 of them on a single disc. The only thing stopping Konami is their preference for porting bleh games on ridiculously underfilled discs that were already not that hard to get like Gradius III. To their partial defense, they did port the two Turtles games recently, but at the price of forcing you to play through those long and awful PS2 Turtles games in order to unlock them.

  • Wow. I never saw this before. In fact, I didn't even know that there WAS an arcade game of this cartoon. And it sure is different from the NES version. By much.

  • Thanks to whomever posted this--I never knew about this in the Arcades, and all the Characters sound like the Animated Series I wish they would remake this Series, and make A Final Episode to it.

  • Wow! I had NO clue Konami made a Bucky O'Hare game! Damn, do I miss the 90s.

  • I knew about the NES Version, but not the Arcade Version.

  • I remember that game

  • Very weird how Konami apparently gave this game a huge budget considering the cartoon only ran for about a year

  • this games always are BETTER with 4 players ^^

    KONAMI rlz!!

    END OF COMMUNICATION...

  • amazing!!

  • That is alot of mazers flying around. Pretty cool
