This is such a heart-wrenching episode. I DVR'd this when it repeated a few months ago and it took me WEEKS to actually watch it because I knew it would break my heart and I had to be in a right frame of mind for it...
reid didnt blink because wanted to look into that bitches eyes and say "fuck you" without the words. i think he did a hella good job in putting her in place

At the beginning of the season, Reid mentions that he's a "blinker" whereas alpha-male Hotch is not, implying that Hotch is a stronger person. I find it interesting that, when talking about torture, which he and Hotch have both endured in one form or another, Reid doesn't blink.
"Reid" once described himself as a 'blinker', but that last part, when he mentioned the torture and then went on to say the rest, whether it was intentional, good editing or good acting, he didn't blink once

if you read fanfiction would it be lovely to have one of him going to rehab and meeting a very preety and nice nurse there who looks after him and have all the other doctors hate him because they can not trick him in to being a zombie like all the other people are in rehab eather scared in to submission are druged up but the nice nurse looks after him talks to him sit with him at night when he crys him self to sleep it would be great please put your thoughts on it please
How about, Reid goes to rehab because he's so unbelievably smart, and then breaks out of rehab by using his super awesome smartness? :) And it doesn't even take him five minutes. Why?

I like how Reid is the one to point out the torture aspect. And he knows all too well about those. Plus, he can answer anything quickly! I think Strauss forgot how fast Reid's mind works. He probably had gone over the whole thing, analyzing every aspect 5 times before he was bought in to be interviewed.
@jocheeyboy430 you're actually wrong there. photographic and eidetic are the same, but "eidetic" seems to be the more technical term. people with eidetic aka photographic memory remember things they see AND read with startling accuracy, despite the time period there may be between when they encounter it and when they remember it.

Every time I hear him say 'When you're being tortured there's no end in sight' I flash back to 'Revelations'. Everyone on this show has been through SO much!
I know. And, when the Charles Hankel persona first turned the video camera on, Reid told him he was a sadist and 'you're word is not true'. That was before he knew his friends were watching. Once he did know he tried to find things to say that would help them figure out where he was; like the poaching remark, the misquoted Bible verse and so on.
Yeah i just loved the heart that he had in it... I mean he was drugged and tortured yet he still helped his team find the guy killing the other people... he is such a brave person
I can NOT stand Strauss! How do so many people like her get into positions of power?? She's a desk jockey who knows Hotch stands in her way. What episode was this, by the way? I've missed several of them.
No field experence is an understatement. She freaked out when she went into the field and accidentally steped on the vics hair.'Maybe she dind't sleep her way to the top but she a walking train wreck.
I know. I actually just saw that particular episode a few days ago. Some desk jockeys are good at what they do but don't belong out in the field. We need them to take care of the politics, paperwork and butt kissing so people like Hotch and Morgan and the rest can actually do the job.
Well, Hotch can do pretty good at the BS also, but not everyone can and let's face it, it DOES have to be done. Strauss is all about politics and power and doesn't even seem to care if she's damaging the bureau's reputation and impairing their ability to do their job in the process. There are WAY too many people like her in positions of power all over the world.

everyone says they like the new Reid better, but I disagree somewhat. i like that he's more confident in himself now, and he's nore sure about everythings he says, but at the same time i don't like the change; it almost takes away from the charecter a little since he already has an established sweet/smart/unsure demeanor. i like him more that way i think.
He's more mature on the show, and that's part of it. If the character didn't change on the show it wouldn't be realistic because they've all seen and been through so much. But I do agree, the sweet/smart/unsure demeanor is what drew me to REid in the first place. He's still that way somewhat though...
I love how Reid was the one that basically told her off when he is supposed to be the sweet genius. I absolutely love bitchy/snappy Reid (Definitely like his character more nowadays when he is less shy)

Yeah i just loved the heart that he had in it... I mean he was drugged and tortured yet he still helped his team find the guy killing the other people... he is such a brave person

I can NOT stand Strauss! How do so many people like her get into positions of power?? She's a desk jockey who knows Hotch stands in her way. What episode was this, by the way? I've missed several of them.

Well, she's definitely threatened by Hotch. Whether she slept her way to the top I couldn't say, but she had no field experience.

No field experence is an understatement. She freaked out when she went into the field and accidentally steped on the vics hair.'Maybe she dind't sleep her way to the top but she a walking train wreck.

I know. I actually just saw that particular episode a few days ago. Some desk jockeys are good at what they do but don't belong out in the field. We need them to take care of the politics, paperwork and butt kissing so people like Hotch and Morgan and the rest can actually do the job.

Well, Hotch can do pretty good at the BS also, but not everyone can and let's face it, it DOES have to be done. Strauss is all about politics and power and doesn't even seem to care if she's damaging the bureau's reputation and impairing their ability to do their job in the process. There are WAY too many people like her in positions of power all over the world.

YOU GO REID!!!! Strauss is SUCH an annoying itch-bay. She strikes me as the sort of person that slept her way to the top, now she's trying to take down anyone that might be smarter than her and is a threat to her position.

i dunno...
everyone says they like the new Reid better, but I disagree somewhat. i like that he's more confident in himself now, and he's nore sure about everythings he says, but at the same time i don't like the change; it almost takes away from the charecter a little since he already has an established sweet/smart/unsure demeanor. i like him more that way i think.

He's more mature on the show, and that's part of it. If the character didn't change on the show it wouldn't be realistic because they've all seen and been through so much. But I do agree, the sweet/smart/unsure demeanor is what drew me to REid in the first place. He's still that way somewhat though...

@Night444Wind I did when I found out, because I lost the channel it was showing on for a few months, and when I got it back I'd missed most of those episodes. I just turned on Criminal Minds and WHAM! Reid's doing drugs. I actually shouted at the TV lol =D
