@sweatervestguy it's pretty simple. If you ever connected a computer monitor to the back of a computer then you know how to connect a computer to the back of a LCD TV. A LCD TV is just a huge computer monitor.

ehhh, cable and satellite will never be phased out. It will instead be incorporated more into monitor technology as Tv's and computers begin to merge. Free content is fine, but limited considering it is rarely optimized for full screen tv viewing since it is browser and platform dependent. Also cable companies are the ones paying all of the high premiums to deliver secured and original content months before they are released en mass for free. Alredy Hudu is moving to a paid platform.

Apple TV is not a full fledged computer, rather its just a set top box you can use to watch netflix movies & tv shows on your TV. The Mac Mini again is a full fledged computer, but its very small and you can surf the web and watch online video on whatever site (pornsites to Hulu to Netflix).

@d2paintballer you will need an Internet connection either way. Either you live around people who have their wifi networks open (free internet) or you just get an Internet package no TV. Though nowadays those TV and Internet packages start out at good rates and if you were just to get Internet you might only be saving yourself $10 to $20 a month. I live in apartment complex so i just use neighbors wifi to watch online video .. all my banking n personal stuff is done on my iPhone for safety.

I love using internet TV, but sometimes you just can't find the shows you want to watch on the internet and need normal TV, especially when you're looking for older seasons of a longer running show. For example, How I Met Your Mother old seasons (1 and 2) are impossible to find on legal sites like you listed

Don't forget to check out your local TV channels by using a small TV antenna. Here near Baltimore, 21 channels are available from Baltimore and Washington, no rotor needed by placing the small antenna in the middle since with digital TV, there is no longer any ghosting.

@k3roj thanks for the comment & suggestion :). Ironically I live in and around the same region, but Internet TV suits my needs at my place with this set up, as Im not a sports fan. Same goes for at my girlfriend's place where use a Roku box. That set up is my more user friendly and intuitive for general population.

Its a small set-top box you easily connect to TV set to access via a remote/cool interface Netfilx, Hulu Plus, Crackle (Sony movies/tv shows), Pandora, Facebook pics - to name a few. Best of all you can search the net for private channels for this set top box to add CNN, tons of porn sites, justin.tv, youtube and a ton more. Going to make a video to demo it. It's the killer solution 4 every1

Jadoo TV no Longer works as of Mar 30, 2011 and they are fraud.. You no longer can receive any programs.. Are other people having the same experience? I sent them 3 emails, and didn't get any reply. I called them and was no. 6 on the waiting list, and the system hanged up just as it was my turn. Go figure that out. They advertised on their website about ARY and GEO, etc. and we did receive for couple of months, and now for the last 2 weeks, everything has disappeared..

@erminthon there is a part 2 of this vid where I show how to connect pc to LCD TV. LCD TV is just a large computer monitor, so if you ever connected a computer monitor wire to the back of a computer it's the same process. THe mouse & keyboard I use are just plugged into the computer I show in the video. Its the size of a bible (Apple Mac Mini).

Overall purpose of this video was/is to show you can save $ and watch things on the INternet for free .. which is the future & currently its free.

@andreamannuell you need a LCD TV with a VGA (computer monitor) connection or higher. Its that cable you plug from your monitor into the back of your PC. INstead of plugging into your monitor plugged into the VGA port in the back of your LCD TV.

As for blurry it sounds like your using something other then a VGA connection like RCA or SVideo. If this is all chinese for you please google this stuff to learn more and to school yourself.  Good luck!
